Shields Defend has just been released for iOS. The aim of the game is to get a decent score by protecting the base (in the middle of the screen) from incoming red bullets/asteroids by rotating shields that surround the base. On a red bullet/asteroid hitting a shield the shield is damaged and a hole is created. To restore them the green shield restore collectable should be allowed through the shields to be collected by the base. A score multiplier (current value shown in the top left of the game) is applied to score obtained when intercepting the bullets/asteroids and collecting collectables. (Roughly)The score multiplier is increased when using a small section of shield to intercept an incoming bullet/asteroid and when a shield restore collectable is collected. The score multiplier is reduced and then reset when too many consecutive uses of large shield segments for bullet/asteroid interception occurs and when shield restore collectables fail to be collected.
