Shepherd Hazel Woof is grazing her sheep peacefully. What could go wrong on this bright sunny day? Little does she know, her sheep could be ambushed at any moment. Poacher Alex McCunning has been luring her sheep to traps he’s made. Fortunately for Hazel, Alex gets spotted and she can now take action. Will she be able to defend her sheep or will Alex steal them away? The fate of the sheep is up to you to decide. Take control of either of the two characters and prepare for a shepherding duel with your opponent. --- Sheeping Around is a multiplayer strategy card game about grazing and stealing sheep. The objective is simple: there's three sheep on the board, and you need to take home or steal two of the three sheep to win. As a shepherd attach graze cards to sheep to graze, and when you're done, use "Whistle" to take them home. As a thief, attach lure cards to sheep to lure them and when they're lured, use "Steal" to steal them away. But the tricky part is all the other cards that make your opponents' lives harder. You can lay traps, guard sheep, reduce graze / lure values and use special bonus cards to your advantage. Add deck-building and card collection, and you get the basic elements of a CCG. All in all, an exciting game that will make you ask your friends, “Will you sheep with me?" --- Key features: * Unique, never-seen-before gameplay mechanics in a tragicomic setting. * Quick 5-10 minute matches: Play on your commute or on the loo! * Smart multiplayer match-making with level based progression. * Challenge your friends and ask them to "sheep" with you! I would prefer a vs AI mode though, sometimes the opponent’s turn is a bit long. Otherwise, it’s good that you’re at least matched with a player fairly quickly. Himanshu Kapoor Member Jun 26, 2018 24 10 3 Male #4 Himanshu Kapoor, Jan 17, 2019 If an matching opponent cannot be found, the game automatically spawns and matches you with a bot close to your level. Offline matches vs AI is a highly requested feature and will come in a future update in a few months time, along with more cards and characters. Himanshu Kapoor Member Jun 26, 2018 24 10 3 Male #6 Himanshu Kapoor, Jan 17, 2019 Sorry to hear that. It seems that you're another one who is stuck with a rare bug with Game Center. If you have a new phone that doesn't come with Game Center pre-installed, please go ahead and download it from the App Store. That should make the game work. It sucks that Apple has such bad support for some of its technologies like Game Center. In the next week or so I will replace the Game Center logins with custom / anonymous logins, so that should be better. Rocksaint Well-Known Member Nov 29, 2013 666 367 63 #7 Rocksaint, Jan 17, 2019 I don't think there's a Game Center app available anymore on the App Store. I searched for it as I am also having a fairly new device which does not have the Game Center pre-installed app. Himanshu Kapoor Member Jun 26, 2018 24 10 3 Male #8 Himanshu Kapoor, Jan 17, 2019 Last edited: Jan 17, 2019 Try to sign into Game Center from "Settings > Game Center" on the Settings app. And then try the game. IAPs are completely optional and not required to progress through the game. It's somewhat like Card Crawl, where you earn gold in each game and can use that to unlock and buy new cards. Like in Card Crawl, each game is different and based on your (and opponent's) deck, you can have different strategies against your opponent. New cards unlock at almost every level and you can easily win coins in a game (and bonus coins at every 5 levels) that you can use to buy new cards. Eventually you'll have surplus coins that you will have trouble deciding what to spend on. Also, a couple of people who played during the beta played even when there were no more cards to unlock. Also, the first of every card is free, the game economy is there just so that you can buy multiples of the same card. If I remove the IAPs (they are just two coin packs, nothing in-your-face like most freemium games), the game would still pretty much remain the same. Also, if you buy a coins pack to get more cards, you might never need to buy another one, like ever. retroboy27 likes this. Now down to $.99. I’ll give it a shot for that price (and still hope they add single player content). ShinHadoukin Well-Known Member Feb 20, 2015 970 141 43 #19 ShinHadoukin, Jan 20, 2019 The problem for me is matchmaking. The game is fun but I continually get “unmatched.” I hardly get to play. vectorarchitekt Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2013 2,489 177 63 #20 vectorarchitekt, Jan 21, 2019 I’m happy that the developer said he would add single player mode. I’ve been matched but sometimes there is a very long pause during the opponent’s move. Not to sound too picky but I also like card games where there is an option to speed things up a little, like reducing animations and whatnot. I wish that strategic card games in general were more popular since they’re so well suited for mobile, and I really don’t enjoy the deck building battle games like Hearthstone and such. I can see the potential for some serious strategy once more cards are unlocked, and at least you are always matched with opponents who don’t have way better cards than you do. At least I haven’t yet.
