Fallout 1 and 2 were plagued with more serious bugs (for me) and are still some of the best games ever made. This game is a gem and well worth supporting. I'd suggest the PC version over the iPad. If that's not an option, this is probably my favourite iPad only game. Not sure about issues with the iPad 2 though. I don't own one.
I think it has gone back to regular price. A shame that the developers couldn't clear up confusion surrounding the iPad 2, even their own forums, the mess that they are, share these concerns and have not been addressed. *it's still reduced.
It really is too bad, they could have easily sold another 3 or 4 copies just from what I've seen posted here.
i dont think you're finding it - here in the german store its still reduced. Agree that its a shame, i'm holding off buying this until someone says it works on an ipad 2
I'm afraid to buy this for my iPad 2. Bought for my Nexus 7 2013 (a quite potent machine) and it crashed after I clicked new game, luckily Google allows you to click refund and you're good (in the first 15 minutes iirc) Lots of complaints in google play that this game is a buggy mess, so im afraid to buy the iOS version.
I had this game on my old iPad 2 but that was a while back and I dunno if there's been any updates that mess with compatibility. It played fine, but there was a bug that prevented me from continuing (combat music kept playing even though everyone was dead and couldn't continue with the story) - guess this could happen on any system though, not sure.
I have the iPad mini retina and I'm also hesitating cause of the numerous comments about bugs... The PC version sounds like the one to get, but I hardly use the PC and prefer to use my iPod touch/iPad...
well there has just been another update with "various bug fixes" and on the german store the reviews seem to be mostly ok for recent versions. I think i might go for it, seeing as it is on sale
Been playing on iPad mini 1g a few crashes but reboot yr iPad and put it in airplane mode it works ok then. Really good game well recommended
This game didn't crashed once on my Mini Retina and the two bugs which I encountered weren't gamebreaking and were already fixed in one of the previous updates. If you're rly interested in SRR, you should get it as long as it's cheap.
I know you guys aren't going to hold onto the ipad 2 for life, so may as well grab it while its cheap and if (when) you upgrade you got a nice game waiting for you.
Decided to get it for my iPad 2. Horrible frame rate, 3 crashes on the first 20 minutes of play. I'm really disappointed, will get a refund from apple.
I mean iPad 2,I don't know if it crashes on other iPads. Also I know we are getting the Dragonfall content
