What are you playing it on? I'm on an iPad mini with the latest iOS and I've had one crash in around six hours of play as opposed to a crash every half hour prior to the update. My experience is that the new update helped massively, did you try a hard reset before you played it?
Firstly, saying $10 is a princely sum is ridiculous. It's a pittance. Too me. So, we can probably leave price out of it. The game has a few glitches. It's mostly fine (for me). The save system is not ideal, I'm alright with it though. Most importantly it's a great addition to anyone's iPad.
How does it run on iPad Air/Mini Retina? Are there fewer chrashes or at least no crashes at all or are they still persistent on these devices? And will A7 devices will get effects like rain in an future update?
I just bought this on the iPad2. Love what bit of the game I got to see, but the constant crashes ruin it. I'm crashing every 10-20 minutes and each crash means I have to replay quite a lot every time. It's a shame as I was really into the story. Unlike Xcom, I wont wait too long in the hopes of a fix before asking for a refund this time. Hopefully, I can get this on the PC instead soon.
Yes I did a hard reset before replaying the level (Beneath the Brotherhood). My main character continued to initiate her action physically (cocking and firing) about 10 seconds before I actually hear the "bang" and the hp reduction. Also continues to freeze when my char moves to log into the system while the girl I saved is still inside. On a 64gb iPad 3

Concerning 1.0.9 The bug concerning a main character lagging on "Beneath the Brotherhood", is an issue that we have only recently isolated, and are still working on the fix. We decided to push out patch 1.0.9 (containing memory optimizations and crash fixes) as soon as we could, so a bug or two may remain. I will continue to work with everyone here in collecting information about bugs and other issues, as well as trying to resolve what issues I can.
Well, i bought it and didn't experienced any crashes so far (Mini 2), BUT now i'm stuck at the penthouse! Every time i open the cell door were the two dogs are in, the game kinda freezes and i can't do anything. Doesn't matter if i open it imediatly or use the zebra meat before. Can't believe it... -.- Any workaround? edit: did a rewind on my savegame and took another route which worked. It's still bugged if i hack the elevator (decker) to get upstairs. Plus, there is no way i could change the game difficulty. I change it to hard, hit the back button and when i re-enter the option menu it's back to normal settings.
next bug. Freezed after using [decking 5] on this chest. Now i'll have to do the whole map again -.- This get's rly annoying...
The quality of the gameplay and graphics itself is totally worth $6.99.......BUT I am not sure that the bugs and problem with save games will cause you enough trouble to make it unbearable.....that is on a case-by-case basis. You need to read the previous posts to see if the bugs and etc. would be game breaking for you, but for the content, it is definitely worth $6.99.

Thanks, Jeff. I rly appreciate that! I've played through it. Not a single crash on iPad Mini RD iOS 7.0.3 so i can easely recommend this game to everyone with at least an Air or Mini RD. Autosaves working fine on them. Dunno about the other devices. Only the two bugs i mentioned above. No game breakers, though, i wasn't in the right mood when i encountered them. Sry :/ The story is written damn well and always kept me interessted. Will definitely have a 2nd playthrough to re-spec my rigger due to some points i've specced wrong. Just want to get the max out of him. Rigger is pure awesomness btw
Game content, absolutely worth $6.99 HOWEVER - Absolutely not worth your money. I'm all too frustrated to encourage anyone else to buy this game even while it's cheaper. IT is still crashing constantly, I was able to actually ply the game after the last update. NOT FOR VERY LONG before I lost my progress multiple times due to crashes. It's absolutely ducking infuriating this game goes on sale half broken just a couple of weeks after it becomes EVEN REMOTELY playable Please don't buy this game. You will grow incredibly frustrated and angry., /rant
I think what he was suggesting is for it to go on sale, while still broken, and having has the players who had bought it close to release had to wait, wait a long time. Maybe my ipad is faulty and everyone else has a working game now, but #### that bullshit.
Just upgraded from a mini to an air ($60 off for Black Friday). Excited to see how this runs on the new hardware.
