Probably You've got my adoration and support for the fantastic game you've presented the iOS audience.
I have ~680MB available and I don't have enough space to update this... How bloody much do you want!? T_T
Plays super smooth after the update. Much appreciated Madfinger Just a note: The voice actor for John Slade sounds exactly like Cmdr. Shepard from Mass Effect... I doubt it's him, but damned if they don't sound like the same person
Updated.. and still invert vertical look doesn't work. Amazing. Reading through the reviews on itunes and others are having the same issue.
Ya inverted look doesnt work here either (iPad 2 non JB, v 4.3.2). Not that I use it, but still a bug. Beta /game testers c'mon, if u offer to help do a proper job.
As someone who played through the game three times in a week and caught a bunch of bugs you guys never got to see, all I can say is f@ck you.
squarezero: ok fk me. I was a bit stressed and worded things wrong (is that even English?). Hope u know what I mean tho. You guys I'm sure did all you could and did a great job. But more game testers would have been needed for a game of this scope (?). Whatever, really fun game. Mad finger did a really good job fixing those few bugs REALLY fast. Edit: I've never been game tester so I sorta dont know all the work that goes into it. So, really, i'm sorry. Mmkay? I'm greatful for ppl that take their time and energy to beta test games.
Sorry for the harsh response: Shadowgun is not the first big game I've beta tested, and it's not the first time I've been accused (indirectly) of doing a poor job. To be honest, we were told that a lot of the UI was still being worked on, so we didn't spend a lot time with control options, etc. Our main foci was gameplay, basic controls, enemy behavior, environmental interaction (especially cover), weapons, and such. We gave Madfinger a ton of feedback and they did a good job incorporating almost all of it in a short period of time. But perhaps you are right: if we'd had a longer beta period we could have perhaps caught more problems, especially ones that happen only in specific circumstances (like the drill sequence bug).
Haven't played the game since the last crash but I wanted to see if anything new was introduced/if the crashing was fixed. Updated and no crashes yet--ipad2, non-JB. Maybe the TA review should be updated to reflect this?
Ya, the drill sequence seems to be the only "real" bug. And again, hey ONLY one "real" bug in a game of this scope missed. Pretty good work Anyway it's all fixed, and again sorry for the other comment.
Also, most of those bugs that everyone saw came up in the final version that was submitted to apple, so there wasn't very much time to fix them. And yeah, that TA review has almost no merit now. Like I have been saying, the game should have been reviewed on what it does, instead of mostly on crashes that would eventually be fixed or repetitive gameplay that is the last thing that should ever be talked about for any game.
I'm having a real hard time with the driller. Im too slow and get killed before shooting the 4th green target. Is anyone else having this problem?
Keep running forward and turn around just to shoot the target. Pay attention the path when you're going in so that you don't get stuck on rocks on the way out. You may want to try the shotgun since you don't have to aim as well to hit the green targets. It took me a couple of runs to get through it the first time I played the game.
So what you're saying is you still don't understand what a review is. Maybe we'll do a little PSA one of these days to clear things up for you.
