Well, in both cases. Resistance, Syphon Filter etc etc all seemed to literally emulate the console versions but forgot significant depth and polish. The unusable controls also made it impossible to play. This, however, looks a lot better. I think even the PSP fanboys realise FPSes suck on it...the most fun I had was Castlevania SOTN and Half Minute Hero.
You may be able to aim quickly with gyroscope controlls, but not quickly AND precisely like with a mouse.
I think he's saying HE can move quickly and precisely with gyro controls. I haven't gamed on a pc since the classic Duke Nukem and tbh, I'm not that into mouse/keyboard controls. PC fanatics bug the hell outta me - KIDDING
Alright, I'm putting an end to this digression. Anybody who wants to discuss controllers can create a thread in the Lounge.
would it be to much to ask for maybe a lite version? not that i'm not convinced to buy it (oh my am i not convinced XD) its just that i need a fix of this right now, even if it its just like 5 minutes of gameplay XD i wanna get my hands all over this baby. my question was for real
The game will be released before Apple can approve a whole new app that Madfinger hasn't even started working on yet. Sorry, but you will have to wait five more days. I'm having a hard time waiting, too.
Would you know how much slower the game runs/how much worse the game looks on an iPod Touch 4? (because of the lack of ram)
Agh, great question! If it doesn't run well and/or has constant crashing on iPT4g, this is a no buy for me. Otherwise, no question - InstaBuy.
It was posted earlier on that it ran at 30fps on 4th gen hardware. Why the questions about its stability, remember that this is Madfinger Games we're talking about, they usually produce quality titles
http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?p=1766749#post1766749 Just so people don't worry too much I am surprised that the textures are the same on all devices though, they look sharp and varied.
Not usually a big fan of 3rd person, but I absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on this one. They're really pushing the envelope of the engine (Unity) and the devices, and I can't wait to see the results.
