How closely does this resemble a complete gaming experience and how much does it resemble a glorified tech demo? That's the real question. What kind of polish does it have in terms of packaging and presentation? Campaign, story, characters, voice overs, cut scenes, etc. $10 is a lot to take a flyer on this and hope it feels like a real game. Does it have a reasonably lengthy single player, like 2 hours? Or would it end up more like 30 minutes? I'm not skeptical of the technical aspects of this game. It looks good and I suspect will perform well. I'm skeptical about everything surrounding this game beyond graphics and core gameplay mechanics. Also, will it feel repetitve? Yes, I know that all games to an extent are repetitive, but good games never feel repetitive.
If you took 2 mins to read, you'd know that the campaign is supposedly a solid 5 hours, gameplay is tactical, apparently there is voice overs, and last but not least - 10 bucks is nothing to blow on the type of quality this game seems to ooze so well.

This game looks simply AMAZING! from the gameplay video i have to say it`s stunning! buying this immediately and i`m 99% sure i won`t regret it
Sorry, but PSP shooters were so goddamn awful...even Resistance with its auto aim was a disaster. Instant turn off...
I agree: that was for the PSP fanboys in the crowd. Shadowgun is way better -- as a shooter -- than any PSP shooter I've played. Edit: I'm always struck by how literal folks can be around here. The comparison was about polish and depth, not controls.
i agree, only a few psp titles managed to have a decent aiming system (MGS PW) and i've found shooters in general on the iOS have PERFECT aiming systems, MUCH better than ANY handheld or even consoles, combined with gyro aiming touch controls can be as quick and precise as a mouse, and the fact that this game appears to have better controls than MC2 just increases my hype
except for the part I marked in your post I agree with you. but no, touchscreen controlls aren't as quick and precise, you can't swipe verry far on a tiny screen compared to how far you can moove a mouse on a table (=> less speed when aiming at things behind you) and aiming & shooting at the same time isn't nearly as precise as with a mouse.
I agree that the mouse is much more precise, but if you use gyroscope controls, then it is possible to turn around very very quickly.
yeah I never got into gyroscoping... I know it's faster to turn in games like MC2, but I found it easier to aim with your finger like swiping the screen.
