To be honest I dont quite understand Gameloft's poor advertising strategy ... I mean what happens if people didn budget for their new games or save taht extra money cause they thought these games were coming out next year etc. Todays releases blew me away I mean those are certainly not small releases - top games in my opinion. I'm pretty sure we can expect the same next week, when dungeon defenders comes out (hopefully). But Gameloft better advertise better so I know what to save money for/or blow it on. I mean I have been waiting for Dungeon hunter 2 since June But all in all Gameloft what a gaming company !!! Fantastic titles ... but I cant decide which is more exciting ... Nova 2 or Shadow Guardian OR BOTH
Well it's not an advertising strategy and it's not poor (Gameloft is a big company making big profits, there is obviously a reason for them releasing games in a particular order on particular days). And anyway, a large amount of people (probably the majority) don't even know about these games (unlike us) before they are released. I think I'm actually looking forward to Shadow Guardian more than NOVA 2. NOVA 1 was a great game, and I'm sure NOVA 2 will be even better, but I know what to expect. Whereas Shadow Guardian is a new IP for Gameloft and it'll be interesting to see what it's like.
Woot, I'll be really looking forward for this one. I miss a Tomb Raider like on the iPad. And Ancient Egypt based? I'm TOTALLY IN.
I couldn't agree more. Classic example -- Eternal Legacy appearing as a worldwide release out of no where, right before IB came out
according to pocketgamer: Shadow Guardian will be available for iPhone and iPod touch at the beginning of next year. No price has yet been announced.
If and when it arrives for iPad... Inevitably the HD version will arrive. However, I'm not excited for Gameloft releases anymore. This week and next (Gameloft related) are sour grapes for iPad only owners. I'll get them when they arrive. I just am not as thrilled, because of all the hype that was mounting (I was just as hyped this week) then there was no Gameloft love for us iPad peeps. So whenever, whatever, right?
Personally, I am glad its coming out next year because this month has already been crazy packed with releases.
An Uncharted clone, awesome. I never had a PS3 so this is great. Now all i need is a real MGS clone. That would rock.
Yeah, I'm surprised that Gameloft hasn't already cloned MGS. I guess they'll get round to it some day or another
Real Racing 2 is far better than Asphalt in the respect of graphics. If it also brings true simulation physics like GT: Racing than I will definitely get that over Assphailt 6 (assuming A6 is all arcadey and fake like it's predecessors.)
Considering MGS is so story driven it would be hard for Gameloft to pull it off, but I'd like to see them try.
Free race yes but free roam i don't think so... And about Gameloft! I think actually they working now on GEOW and MGS titles for 2011...
