I would say to either wait for the archer decks, because until the update with weapons and armors their abilities don't come in handy. Mage decks are pretty solid, with good amount of support cards and allies. In the end though, it's whatever seems cool to you.
In the game when you click on the card pack it says if it contains random cards or if it has predefined cards.
Freemium games usually allow you a way to access all content, just much more slowly than paying for it. Can I earn cards w/o having to pay? I hope so because the only time I would ever pay for digital cards is if they have some resale value (i.e. MTGO).
Thanks for clarifying a bit. I chose Jericho Spellbane as my main so it would probably best to go with something more diverse than stay with support I take it. Still in the tutorial so I haven't got to the buy screens yet. Do you or anyone else suggest different on packs? I'll most likely go with something predefined as I'll know what to look forward too...
What the heck? The 'game rules' page on the web site doesn't say what the object of the game is. Kill the Hero? Do damage to a player? It doesn't say.
I've played several games now and it looks to be 80% mage direct damage spell decks. This game has way too many cheap multi target fireball type spells. There needs to be some kind of drawback to those cards or a monkey could make a deck with them and just spam all day.
Definitely will check out the mage deck then, thanks. The game is excellent so far. Lost my first game but won the second. Yes, of course you can earn in game money to buy new cards without having to pay.
are there plans to add time limits to turns, or max time limits per person in multiplayer? my opponent has done nothing for 5 minutes....Moto has its issues, but it does stop people from doing this kind of shenanigans.
First off. The music in this game is frecking awesome. Secondly the app icon holy crap! Lol. Best icon I've ever seen. I really like the game like I figured I would, but it took me like 5 minutes to realize the thing in the middle of the map was there for the menu lol.
My first match ended in a crash I attacked with 4 allies and brought the opponent to 2 health, then I cast two spells that did 1 damage per turn. Ended my turn, the two spells each did one damage and killed the hero... then it crashed
Can someone who downloaded the game answer this... I can't download since it's not in US store yet. And if unfortunately it's online only and/or costs too much for the full game then I won't bother waiting and downloading this tomorrow.
My app is still downloading. How does this game compare to popular card games such Yugioh Duel Masters Chaotic Pokemon Trading Card Game Magic:The Gathering Naruto Bleach It would nice even if the devolper had something to say. Don't say anything about these card games please.
It's been in the us store for the last hr and a half oo. Also. My friend bought a pack but it said it's unusable ... Does that mean he needs a higher level or something? Basically the game wont let him put his cards in his deck.
I bought 20 bucks worth of "Shadow Crystals" for that you get 27 packs of cards. I opened 17 and am saving the rest for when the weapon cards are released. Personally I feel this initial selection of cards isn't quite enough, but when a few more expansions come out this game could be really great. The way the cards are fragmented between light and shadow and mage and hunter and warrior and wolf and elemental you're not left with very many options for deckbuilding strategies
I've been a fan of Wesnoth but the non-offline mode is a deal breaker for me. With kids and family the only time I get to play is on my 1.5 hour commute each way every day and with no internet connection it means I won't be able to enjoy this amazing game. Please put offline mode. Encrypt the data with iOS uuid and time stamp or something so it can't be hacked or distributed.
Wow, this game is seriously pretty damn amazing. The iOS has truly been waiting for a TCG game like this. The art is fantastic. The soundtrack is great. YOU CAN OBSERVE OTHER PEOPLE'S GAMES ONLINE. That's definitely a first. Besides all that, the gameplay is just fantastic as well. Buying some boosters when I grab another iTunes card tomorrow. Thanks for another fantastic multiplayer game.
Sigh... Finally a proper collectible card game and they have to make it online only... W.T.F. I was looking for a card game to spend some time on and this is a huge disappointment. Guess the developer of this game didn't realize that there's a non-3G model of the iPad, and not everyone has wifi access 24/7 or carries a wifi box with them on the bus.
I'm sure this game would be fun... If I could start the first mission. Crashes everytime after I press accept.
