Crap, I lost all the cards I bought last night apparently. It was a Wulven deck I put together based on a blog at the SE website. Since it wasn't doing all that great anyway, I guess it's not that bad a bug.
I am still having trouble with Duel-Wield in my Warrior deck. It will not let me cast it. No matter what I do. I can have f*cking 50 resources in play, and it still won't let me pay 5 to cast the son-of-a-bitch. This really turns me off from my almost beautiful warrior deck. I even tried playing it with no other items or abilities in play, but alas. Still will not let me cast it. Help? lol
@Booch138 Dual Wield, currently, cannot be casted due to a bug. I'm sure it'll be fixed by the next update.
I'm kinda disappointed in this update - I was figuring the decks would be updated to include the new armor/weapons, especially for heroes that have weapons as part of their abilities. I chose the hero with dual wield, but I still can't use it because I have no weapons and not enough funds to buy even one item. So it feels like this hero is underpowered. Also noticed that the free offers window is buggy - most of the time it comes up in portrait mode rather than landscape mode - it seems to have trouble determining the device's orientation. And I know it's a bug with the game, not with Tapjoy because I have another game with the same feature, and the window works fine there. One question - with the expansion packs, do they provide cards related to your deck(s) or are they completely random? Since cards are limited in which heroes they work with, it seems like getting completely random cards in an exp. pack would be a big waste.
Nope, Ter Adun. I see. Well this is disappointing big time. But I expect it to be fixed in the next update. Just hope it doesn't take as long to release...\ Was going to buy more Shadow Crystals right now to put towards making another deck, but it looks like I might have to pass till the next update. Guess that leaves me no choice but to spend my money on, for the third time, Final Fantasy III. LOL On second thought, I guess I could always just buy the Crystals and make my Hunter deck. I dunno...
@FictionalCharacter Original post here. @Artfoundry Booster packs contain random cards but starters are predefined. Here's a list of the starter packs' content. @Booch138 New card releases were planned as bi-weekly but with all of the unexpected bugs in v1.24 and setbacks like the recent server problem, from v1.24 to v1.25 is probably 3 weeks at the least--I'm guessing. EDIT: Currently, starter packs provide better value on average so it's recommended that you buy these, sell the cards you don't need, and then buy the ones you do with the gold. Only reason to buying boosters is if you don't mind spending money but don't want to spend time selling all of the 32 cards in starters.
Thanks for the update bro. I pretty much just bought 17 booster packs and made a hunter deck with what i had, and sold off cards I didn't need, and bought with gold the rest of the cards I did need. Now I have a pretty rad hunter deck. In any event, sucks the servers are going to fritz. I was online with a guy and something... odd happened. I was playing Gwenneth TS and he was playing Darkclaw, and I got h im down to 2 health, whilst I still had 26 (I was pretty much owning the guy) and when I went to fire off the last bow shot at him to take him down, the game froze and no one won or lost. I recieved no exp (not even from winning or losing) and no gold. I was playing on my iPod 4th gen. Has this happened to anyone yet?
I just want to drop by and say thanks to Kyle for his kindness and effort to keep the game attractive to players. Not only did he restore my level and crystals, but I still get to keep the extra 200 crystals everyone has been granted, yay!
@Booch138 Currently, there's a bug with Night Prowler, where, if your opponent has no cards in his hand when you attack, the game will stall and not proceed so you just have to exit. It's been reported lots of times so it should get fixed by the next update. @tonyunreal Yeah, 200 Shadow Crystals for everyone. There's over 500,000 accounts. So Kyle's 1 million USD in the hole. And since he currently resides in Vietnam, the guy had to sell his house. He's living in the game studio now. His wife is probably filing for divorce. Man, I feel for that guy.
Okay, that seems to be it, cause it just happened to me again, and I happen to have Night Prowler out. Thanks for the clarification, you have been really helpful brah. Guess I'll put away the Hunter Deck for now (damnit.. and I just made it..) Wait... wtf is this real? Call me a sucker but that doesn't sound right at all. lol
Still havent heard back about getting the shadow crystals I lost yesterday restored, should I just reverse the charges through paypal? I lost 600 shadow crystals and maybe 40 wins worth of gold and exp, so 200 crystal compensation isnt going to cover it. :/
