Antialiasing and fluid card movements (zoom/swipe) would be a good start. :)

Has the update adding support for older devices(2nd touch ipod touch, etc.) been scrapped?

It's kind of disheartening checking every few days for a version update only to find out it's still the same version.

I've been meaning to get this since I used to play MTG, but now I'm not so sure.

I know how you feel and this is why I'm currently playing the game on Facebook instead. You should too, it's still a blast :)

I really like the game concept but put off by the controls. Overall the game is workable but a few tweaks can help the game make it on my favorites folder.

Huh, there's a Facebook version? Thanks for the heads-up bro, should tide things over until a release for our legacy devices. :)

There is also a web-based version that doesn't require Facebook at http://game.shadowera.com. You'll need the Unity Web Player installed (it will prompt you to download and install it if you don't have it already). PC/Mac versions coming with the next update as well.

Time for another new card! :D

    Name: Night Prowler
    Casting Cost: 5
    Defense: 1
    Durability: 1
Effect: If your Hero deals damage to an opposing Hero, you take 1 card from their hand at random.
Flavor: "I'm a klepto at heart."

Eternal fame and glory goes to autumnleaf!

That card kind of sucks. 5 resources to use and it only has a resilience of 1 and you also have to have some sort of weapon in play already to do any damage for the card to have any effect. Casting cost should be like 3 for how little you get out of it.

+1 durability should be at least 2 or 3 with that cost..
or make it cost 9, but change the effect to not only hero that deals damage gets you a card from your opponent, but your ally too :D that'll be a killer card :p

I actually liked that card. That's a pretty nifty ability which is sure to drive your opponent mad in the long run. Once we actually have items to attack with, that is ;)

I like it but agree it might be a bit too pricey, especially for something you'll probably only get to use once. That amounts to a high cost with conditions to steal one random card from your opponent's hand. Doesn't seem worth it at first glance.

Hunters have several cards that can be used as good combos for this, eg Rapid Fire to attack twice in a turn, then play Into The Forest so your Hero can't be attacked. Suddenly this armor makes a HUGE difference and maybe you can steal 4 cards if your enemy doesn't have a weapon equipped.

    No love for us mages?

All except Wulven and Mages have got a weapon revealed.
    That makes me sad...

I thought that there was too much love for mages in the current version (v1.23). lol.

Currently, Eladwen's and Banebow's abilities are too strong. When facing one of them, it is hard to keep any creatures on the board. I realize that Equipment is going to change up the whole game, but I think that these character's abilities still need tweaking.

Only Raven Wildheart and Aeon Stormcaller can live through a round (and thus get any damage off) for the Ally side. Infernal Gargoyle, Chimera, and Plasma Behemoth can live on the Shadow side.

    My suggestions:

    Eladwen

    Energy Cost: 2
Ability: Ice Shard deals 2 damage to a target.

This nerfs Eladwen enough that you can keep a character out for at least a couple turns before they die (assuming they don't get killed another way). It is not a straight nerf though, it also buffs her by allowing her to hit the other Hero. She can still kill Blake Windrunner, Deathbone, Fire Snake, Belladonna, and Spark in the same turn they are cast. This also gives the player a reason to run Puwen Bloodhelm, because currently there is no reason you should be running him over Blake Windrunner.

I know that Puwen Bloodhelm can live through some enemy attacks that Blake Windrunner cannot, but it doesn't matter because you have to assume that you will be playing a Eladwen deck. And Eladwen can kill either in a single ability, which means that Blake's higher ATK makes him more valuable.

    Banebow

    Energy Cost: 2
Ability: Flaming Arrows does 3 damage to up to 3 targets.

This nerf's Banebow's creature destruction slightly, while giving him more utility. He can't outright kill a 4 HP Ally, but he can weaken it to the point where he can kill it with an attack. He could also weaken 3 characters to that point, or do 3 damage to the opposing Hero.

Also, it needs to be noted on the card that Banebow can select the same Target multiple times. The way the ability is described makes it seem like it works like the other spells/abilities where you cannot choose the same Target more than once.

EDIT: Also, something needs to be done about people dropping games so that they don't lose rank points. Games never actually end, because the opponent will always drop right before they lose so they don't actually lose (and therefore lose no points). Ranks have no meaning right now.

I think banebow is fine as is even with new cards coming and ela is more manageable with the slight nerf she is getting. As for the newly shown card, I too feel it is a little pricey ATM unless u have a deck specifically tailored around/for it. So maybe it's fine hah.
