Thats why previously i suggest to give info on a player's hero in multiplayer. I know that someone can just build anti eladwen n keep looking eladwen players to play to boost rating etc. But most people are sick of meeting eladwen game.

Maybe (but not sure how big the effort is) for online:
    - there is "challenge" type: random pre cons deck match, boosters packs match, and existing match where people use their own decks

    - its ok you can see the hero played by a player, but to minimize people abusing it:
    1. Keep using online rating to match who vs who. At one point, anti eladwen players will meet high rank eladwen players. So they cant select new players playing eladwen
    2. Like boxing, you can be as challenger (select opp you want to fight) or become "champion" who are open to accept challenge from any players playing any deck (with the same rating ofcourse).
    3. Diffrentiate reward or achievement, where champion can get higher point then challenger.

    - match type for more casual players or beginners. Say beginners only where it is like current match, cant see opp hero, but no rating. Purposely to play or test deck or simply new players phase before stepping in to more cruel worlds

    Maybe this can satisfy people.

    Thats awesome :)

I really hope that the update won't make the Gravebone deck I'm using useless... Had some luck with it, however the only deck that I'm having a lot of trouble with is Frostmire.

One thing I haven't figured out yet is how the AI opponents are chosen. Do they shuffle weekly? When you level? I was going up against an elemental opponent for awhile, but he seems to have disappeared from the choices and haven't seen him in ages. Maybe I defeated him so many times I broke his spirit. =(

I haven't ventured online yet, I assumed it would be mostly people insulting my mother and questioning my sexuality, hehe...or maybe that's just Starcraft I'm thinking of.

I'm getting extremely tired of people who just stop playing the game, waiting for me to drop, so they can get the points. Please tell me this is going to be fixed in the update.

Maybe new stats can be added for longest games with no activity. It's a game in itself! So exciting! It amazes me that some of these idiots will actually sit there for what....hours?....trying to see who will drop first. It's been 45 minutes and this putz is still waiting for me to forfeit.

    On my s...tlist: Corte

What's truly sad is that I've already got a list of names of similar offerders, so that I can reference it and avoid these jerks in the future. I hope 'name blocking' is going to be a feature soon.

To make it clear: there is currently a server-side timeout of about 1 minute. If you do not do anything for 1 minute when it is your turn, the server will end the game and you will lose.

What you are experiencing is actually a connection problem on your end. Unfortunately the client does not currently show the status, and is continually trying to reconnect in the background.

To test out this explaination, you can open up two browser windows with different logins. Start a match within a few seconds and you should be matched up (if your rating is close). Now close the window of one of the browsers, or just don't do anything when it is your turn. After about a minute you will get a victory message.

The next release is much more clear about the current status and also does client-side timeout checks.

One thing i just realised, this game already balancing in who get first turn or not.
Who goes first, dont get shadow point during 1st turn. Shadow point starts for 2nd turn players. So you get advantage by playing first, but you dont get your shadow point yet.

    Well done

I think the person who plays second also draws a card at the beginning of their turn, so they have a slightly higher hand size. Which is...not amazing, but something!

Okay, I admit my weakness by spending gold and buy a card or two...

I really how my opponents smash me with that Plasma Behemoth, and it is surprisingly has high performance / price ration! I grab one just to find it rutting unusable!!! I guess playing a human mage heroine is the main cause and is there anywhere mentioning that a human hero cannot have wolf/elemental ally?

Yes, our stats show that for all multiplayer games played, there is just about an exactly even chance to win if you go first. So I would say that the extra card and extra shadow energy for the second player is working very well to balance the turn advantage.

For info about deck construction rules, please see http://www.shadowera.com/faq.php but basically the card must share the same class or faction for your hero, or be a neutral card. So no, your human hero cannot have shadow allies, just like a warrior cannot have Mage abilities. The next version will give you a warning if you try to buy a card that you can't use.

Well, thank Kyle, no biggie cause no real money has been involved. It was my wildest dream to have a plasma behemoth on my side.

Its great u can only build a deck that share the same class as you heroes. Otherwise people simply take what the best cards available.

If eladwen - portal already annoy most people, what about eladwen with big teeth :)

I am sure somebody must have raised this before and pardon me for repeating:

I was in a duel with Banebow (AI) who has the ability to inflict 2 damages up to 2 targets. For effects like this (e.g. lightning) normally does not allow 2 scores on the same target. But for Banebow, it can hit my heroine with a total damage of 4. Could be a bug or something?

from what I know .. yup you can do it to the same target. Unless if it is written "2 different target", which means you cant target the same target twice

    Okay, thanks for explaining that.

Also noted that when I find, some "neutral" cards like "Blood lust" and "Here No Monster" cannot be used by Human Heroes, it seems. Unlike the explanation above.

The buttons on the merchant screen also click when the menu is selected.
