Yes.. I want to delete it. I dont want to add new cards up to 30 and save it again. Cos i want to free my cards to be sold to merchant, n i dont want to invest time in shaping the deck until i have cards i needed. About Mind Control as everybody mentions.. Yup it need to be fixed. Its really weird when i played yesterday, my opp took my 2 allies using mind control. When i cast retreat, my ally went back to his hand???? And when i killed my ally which now under his side, it went to his graveyard????
Agree partly, again when everyone out there have Portal + powerful allies, I cannot see why this is not Real Racing 2 online all over again -- most are power players and leaves no room for more casual (I would use this word discretely) players to enjoy online duels. Of course, when the developer "fine-tunes" the gameplay in certain way, the outcome always leaves some one unhappy. It is a sad fact from many other previous examples.
I would probably bet money that there will eventually be some way of selecting what types of opponents you play against online (casual vs. competitive) and as it stands with the ranking based matching, you generally come up against opponents who are more or less around your level of skill at playing the game. Just like with any CCG, as the player base grows needs such as these will begin to emerge and be addressed. SE hit 100,000 players the other day and if it continues to grow at even a fraction of that rate it will feul the development of features like this. Kyle is nothing if not responsive to the community, especially when it comes to addressing the needs of those playing his games Q
This game really scratches my MTG itch. I just plunked down $20 to purchase some dark crystals and beef up my deck. Last night I opened 3 booster packs and guess what I got? 2 Aeon Stormcaller epic cards! Went ahead and purchased 2 more Aeon Stormcaller cards from the Merchant at 600g each and I now have 4 of these babies on my soon to be nerfed Eladwen Frostmire deck
Maybe you aren't understanding exactly how it works. Only the cards in your current deck are not available to sell to the merchant. This is so that you won't be stuck without a deck and unable to play the game. All the other cards in your "saved" decks can be sold, as long as they are not in your current deck. For example, say I have a mage deck and a warrior deck. My mage deck is the current active deck. I can sell all my warrior cards, can sell everything that appears in the bottom panel of the Deck screen. Then, if I go and try to load the warrior deck, it will warn me that some cards are missing, and not activate that deck yet. If you need some Shadow Crystals to purchase more cards, I highly recommend using the web version and do some free offers like surveys to get free Shadow Crystals.
I think, as a casual player, it is as fun to watch how this system evolves (and devolves) in the long run. I am bringing some popcorns (or peanuts if you prefer).
It certainly is very challenging to try to compile all the user feedback to improve the game, and game balance is something that will change with every release. Just imagine how Hero weapons and armor will change the player's strategies...
...and forbids me from dumping all those weapon/armor-related cards as resources with reconsiderations on the Ranger class (very good against wolf things).
I was just wondering if anyone knows if there is a Level cap at all? I'm at level 8 so far and the experience required for the next level is 3900. I was just wondering if there is a level cap and does the experience requirement just keep raising? I also noticed the AI doesn't get any smarter and the gold amount rewarded stays the same will this change. In terms of AI i'd definitely like a more of a challenge.
A few more suggestions: - An icon next to the player's name indicating what device he's playing on (PC, iPhone, iPad). Would be kinda cool, and shouldn't be hard to implement. Also it'd help generate awareness to the fact that you might be playing with someone who's on a different platform than you. I think this is a selling point worth reminding people of. - Foil cards! TCG players are collectors by nature and you better believe some people would chase foil playsets like crazy. Make them rare to get in boosters, and 4 or 5 times the price in gold. That would be a good way to increase revenue without messing up balance/pissing off the cheapskaters. If I want to have a flashy foil Fire Snake playset (and buy 5-6 boosters to get them, thus supporting the dev), what's it to you? All this would take to implement is alternate art/little special effects floating around in the art/both. Bragging rights, man! - GameCenter matchmaking. I know, this has been brought up time and time again, but I just need to emphasize - Rotation awareness on both the iPad and iPhone. Kinda sucks you HAVE to turn the device "the right way" to play. With the iPad it's even worse, because those of us with the Apple case would much rather use it propped up during gameplay. - Counters that indicate how long effects like Rain Delay have left. It helps the noobies. - What's a TRADING card game without the ability to actually trade cards with your friends, am I right? Unfortunately we know some people would abuse this by creating bogus accounts, buying decks with their starting Shadow Crystals, selling them for gold, buying the cards they actually want and trading with their actual account. So how about this -- what if only players with level 5 and over could trade cards...? I don't think anyone would put the effort to level up that much just to cheat. You might as well be doing that with your ACTUAL account and buy the cards you want with gold you win in battles. - VOIP Chat? This would be outstanding (as far as I know Flight Control is the only multiplayer game in the AppStore that does VOIP chat. Text chat would be nice, too!
Ok Kyle, I understand what your saying but what he/she is saying(as well as myself) is we want to be able to have zero cards so we can view our ENTIRE inventory when trying to buy/sell without the need of having to switch from human/shadow/wulven/elemental/etc and keep a mental head count. It's a hassle to have to micromanage the deck when you want to know if you have more than 4 cards of a certain type. I understand you cannot go into battle with zero cards and thats ok...this is solely for the merchant section because I personally have sold a card that I thought I had more than 4 of but I was unfortunately wrong and since learned from that mistake. I hope this was better clarification to be able to maximize my resources with less error...
Ditto above and when you zoom to your hand during scarify phase, the number of resource should also be visible (on iPod Touch 4), and the "5" and "6" are too gorram close visually. I guess it has been fixed in the upcoming release. I would take the liberty and re-write: "Hey you! Love Magic the Gathering? Come and play with 100,000 of us now with Shadow Era! It is free to start, universal, online multi-player, play anywhere anytime! So, what are you waiting for?"
Similarly, I'd love a feature to be able to exclude cards that I have in ANY deck while at the Merchant...so, if I have 5 different decks, I can choose to only show cards that are not in any of those decks (since those are the most likely ones I would be selling.
