Well when it was only 1 attack I thought you might increase.

And for reply to your smart comment, do werewolves have dentures or something in your world :p

This game desperately needs more cards. As of now online games are pretty much a mage blast-a-thon. Without interrupts there is nothing to counteract mages blowing up all your allies. Also if your going to have summoning sickness but not have the ability to choose blockers it makes the game overly reliant on spells like fireballs and clinging webs. Perhaps if you released more trap cards that could be used to counteract or redirect hero abilities and stop attackers. I would love to build a trap deck but there only seems to be 1 or 2 trap cards.

Also you should think of some modifiers to allies like flying vs land characters or characters that cannot be attacked except by certain types or characters with trample. Perhaps a lower cost poking character (the only one I see now is plasma behemoth) mybe on with 2 life that only does 1 damage by poking.

I was thinking maybe everyone was too busy but we just got some crapy front page news about games that i doubt people care about. This game is so awesome and people like it so much that i'm incredibly dumbfounded as to why they haven't done coverage.

Your logic makes sense, its just that they claim that they write about games that people care about. Especially when asked why certain indie games didnt get coverage (i recall reading this from in uggles thread). This was one of the most anticipated games and its lived up to most people's expectations reasonably well. Their claim that they write about games people care about is just making them look bad to me right now.

EDIT: as for the game itself. I'm gonna buy maybe $5 worth of in-app as soon as I can. kinda broke right now. But enjoying it so far.

Hey Kyle, I'm curious how many online games have been played. I certainly never seem to have to wait more than a few seconds for a match which implies that there are plenty of games going on all the time. You must have some kind of counters going as to stats like: How many total games have been completed; how many games have been abandoned; average play time of games; most commonly used hero; things like that.

The game seems to be doing really well so far, it's fun to play, the cards are beautiful, and hopefully lots of people are buying crystals and filling those coffers! :)

This is the only game I have been deliriously happy to spend £10+ on and I am loving it. I've got a ton of cards but I've only really explored the human mage deck so far.

I love the game Kyle and will review on iTunes shortly. I hope you get rich because the game is great + plus success = many frequent updates.

I totally agree. Spent $20 this morning, by far the largest IAP I've ever made and only the first of many more to come I'm sure!

I'm a sucker for CCGs, but I never wanted to play the Magic the Gathering one online because they tried to charge the same price as real cards. I'll totally pay a dollar a pack but 3 bucks was ridiculous.

The update looks good, thanks Kyle. Lots to look forward to but one thing I want to outright mention is the standalone PC version ^^.

I would like to suggest a character or item in which you pay resources to drain shadow power from the enemy hero.

Hey attention all mods ! Play this game for a bit and realise it deserves some front page attention.

Seriously can't believe there has been no mention of this games release! I follow TA on twitter and was shocked when I found out SE had been released through another source. No mention on Twitter or the TA website.... Unbelievable. Great job on the game Kyle. This is exactly what I've been waiting for on my iPhone. My friends and I have already made donations and plan on doing so again soon!

You reeeeely need to work on this multiplayer sync issue. I can't tell you how annoying it is to be playing a game for 20 minutes only to have this sync cut off and have to quit the game.

Definitely looking forward to this. Can I assume the gestures apply to the iPad version too? :)

Already bought $7 worth of shadow crystals. I rarely spend that much on a game, and a free game at that. I'm waiting for the update before buying anything. Also, if we signed up for the iphone beta, are we still getting our free crystals?

Yes, oh I forgot to add that on the iPad the GUI and text is now scaled 2x bigger, it is a lot easier to use...
