I'm also having the problem of no crystals being earned when I win against the AI. I've won three games but my crystals stay at 25. I played one game online, won, and then my crystals went up to 50. Is there going to be a fix for this soon, because if not, I'm only going to play games online and not against the AI. Really enjoying it so far, but I agree that slide touch to move view around would be very helpful. Also, during online games, cards get placed on my hero and if you're not fast, you don't see what it was. I had 3 cards on my hero but they were all buried and no way to read them. Would be good if you could scroll through these cards at anytime. Selecting cards in your hand from zoomed out view does not work very well. Hit and miss.
You only win shadow crystals with leveling up! 25 per level! You can see your actual level in the Status button.
This happens outside of online play too. There should be a way to view cards "attached" to an ally/hero. And there are definitely balance issues with the Mages I think. Especially Eladwen Frostmire. No wonder nobody plays with a different hero online... His ability should cost AT LEAST 4 Shadow Energy.
That's because right now there's no weapons available, so everyone play magic spells and cool portal items!
quick question... what is the gold for? all things in the merchant place cost crystals or whatever from what ive seen. Also, Ive beat all the AI enemies but havent unlocked any new ones or whatever. Are there only those three?
For this case, I recommend my Bombs away! deck. The build: 1 Majiya (Nishaven might be a choice with a modified deck, too) 4 Plasma Behemoth 3 Freeze 3 Clinging Webs 4 Fireball 4 Lightning Strike 2 Arcane Burst 3 Here Be Monsters 4 Rain Delay 3 Poison Gas 3 Engulfing Flames Simple deck, just made to wreak havoc. Grind the Hero away with Poison Gas and Engulfing Flames, stomp a little around on him with Plasma Behemoth and meamwhile bomb all allies away. When the Portal card comes into play, use Rain Delay to disable its functionality.
The gold buys individual cards go to the merchant click on buy and it will bring up all the cards the merchant has in stock
Gold is for buying individual cards from the merchant. Crystals are for buying pre-made decks and boosters. There are other AI enemies. If you click the World button in the menu again it should reload with a different AI distribution.
Wow, I actually made it into the top 20 richest players for about 5 minutes. Of course then I spent most of that gold rounding out and filling in some gaps in my collection/decks. Having a lot of fun playing this. Can't wait to meet up with some of you online Q
alright thanks. Also, I was poking around the forums on the shadow era site and i saw a mention of trial offers but I have no idea what that is about. help anyone? thanks hahah
Lack of front page mention is starting to bother me. Even if they're doing a full review they could've mentioned it. This was one of the most anticipated games and not even a mention on the front page. There's really no excuse now -.-
Can people start posting their decks, I am really interested in making a PvP Elemental or Wulven deck but dont want to waste my cash on the wrong cards
I don't get the deckbuilding. I remove 3 cards I don't want. I purchased 3 cards I do want. The 3 cards are greyed out. How do I add them to my deck? ...why are these cards unusable? I just spent all my gold and I can't use the cards??? And how does sacrificing work? One resource for every card discarded, no matter the value of the card?
You bought cards from a class different than the hero you're using. For a Warrior Hero, you can only use Warrior cards. You must have bought, say, a Mage card for a Warrior deck, for instance. Don't worry. We've all done it. Just start a new deck that belongs to the same class as the card you wanna use. That's what I did, I bought a Portal but was using a Hunter deck if I remember correctly. Yes.
I think I'm the only one who's NOT playing a Frostwire deck. That's what EVERYBODY USES. It goes to show how unballanced he is. Kyle, PLEASE, fix him. A time limit for moves would be nice, too. I've noticed people will just stop playing once they are losing, causing you eventually to quit the match. Also, some type of in-game chat would be really helpful.
How do you know what class your card is? ...okay, it's in the middle of the card. This is really hard to see. I would recommend the card display be twice as large as it is currently. When the card the enemy plays is shown to you, why not let it fill the entire screen? The print is very hard to read, and I'm already near sighted. There really should be a better rules explanation when learning this game. Half of it I'm figuring out by trial and error or asking questions here.
