Okay, Kyle, I know it's not your fault, and I certainly don't blame you. Being a mac user myself, I've experienced Apple's occasional reluctance to admit that they owe you something. But I tell ya, I am about ready to just write you a check so you can buy another hundred devices. What say you just credit it to my account when the game is launched officially? =D
You should just purchase another account and later email them explaining the situation to get that money back.
The big web version update is scheduled for the end of the week, which will bring lots more playable classes and multiplayer. Perhaps I will just push up the iPhone timeline and submit already
I agree, that would be awesome, but all jokes aside, I for one can wait until you're ready to release it. Yeah, patience isn't easy, but I'd rather have a good app that is going to attract more players than a potentially buggy app that turns new players away (not to discredit your mad programming skillz, I just know that even the most careful designs can have flaws). It's certainly up to you. I think everyone would be understanding if you wanted to receive beta testing feedback before a general release.
He didn't talk about general release. And that is the reason for it being a beta, to make the ''potentially buggy app'' not buggy. There has been betas for over 7 months and I would doubt Kyle would even think of releasing if there would be still bugs to be found.
anyway, to us who got in the iphone beta, could you keep us updated here if its not to much of a problem? that would be awesome, im sure alot of us come here to check on the beta news multiple times a day, i know i do oh yeah, and good work on everything kyle, seriously, you do great work.
Ah, I suppose I misunderstood what he meant by "submit." I fully admit my ignorance on the subject of app developing and the process of dealing with Apple. If any part of my previous post was born out of my ignorance, please (everyone) ignore it.
Actually I did mean submit the app for approval to the App Store. So we could be looking at an early February release to the general public. In reality the game has been running great on the iPhone for well over a month now, have to release it soon or it will never get done heh
Im looking for some more Infos about the game. Is there a Auction House, or other form of player to player trading? How much does a booster pack cost? And how many and what kind of cards are included? Is there some kind of league, rating, tournaments or something? pXe
It has been almost 2 weeks since the iPhone beta's predicted start. You told something about web version releasing this weekend? Will we get the iPhone beta before or after the Web one?
Wowz! Great news! Please submit it! Then, I will surely be able to include it in my forthcoming "MTG Games on iOS"-type of roundup / article for iPhone Life.
