My favorite card is the 'Shard of Power'. Although this card may not be useful in a defensive position due to the reduced health, it can be used very effectively for that final push to victory!
I posted this as a comment on the FAQ, but since you seem to be answering questions here more frequently, I'll just copy and paste here. =D "For the translated versions of the game, will a player be allowed to switch language preferences? If so, what bearing does that have on the cards already in the player's possession? Do the cards change language (and art, etc) or would new cards in the other language have to be obtained? If the latter, would it be allowed to mix cards in different languages into a deck as a player sees fit (maybe s/he likes the art better on the German ability cards but likes the Japanese Hero best and that Norwegian item has the next Rembrandt, but oh those Russian and Vietnamese cards' art!)?" Thanks for making a great game and releasing it in incremental betas! Every update is like Christmas all over again!
with this card, you can turn the tide in your favor. Because if the opponent is the game based on attack with the creatures, you can easily make them a harmless one. If you have a deck with creature who are a small amount to summon them, you kill your adversaire quickly !
I was not expecting this. Can I just hand you my wallet? I'd actually consider doing just that if Wesnoth was updated for Retina
Most ally focused decks also carries a broad selection of spells to help take down enemies like that. That, and Gravebone/Deathbone combo cripples her completely.
When the translations are done sometime after the initial release, you can select your language at any time and the cards will all magically be in your language. You will not have to get new cards, and you can play against other people who will see your cards in their own language. Although it's an interesting idea to have different card art for the languages, that's far too much work
Okay, thanks for clearing that up. =) Here I was referring to your comment in the FAQ about localized images for different translations. I guess that was too much to hope for. =P
There ara a lot of combo i love on this game. It's like MTG but more easy ! When i played on Shadow Era Web version, i tested more and more combo cards. I just hope the IA will be harder.
This game is amazing, best tcg i have seen.. when will this be released.. i dont want to keep on playing it on my computer, i willfinally have a tcg on the go! Is there going to be more cards added in updates?
Yes there will definitely be a steady supply of booster packs! Lots of plans to flesh out all the classes Armor and Weapons will add a whole new layer of strategy to the game. Here's a preview of more top quality artwork for the Heavy Armor cards Thanks to everyone who entered into the beta contest! Still a few more days for any stragglers...
Seems exciting, the artwork looks amazing, and it looks like the elements will add a welcome addition to the game right now.
When will be know about the iphone beta. Personally as an MTG and WOW Tcg player this game intrigues me as there is nothing as close on the market at the minute for the Iphone. The game itself plays similarly to the wow tcg. it shouldnt be hard to figure out broken cards within the sets themselves. Also, where do I go about applying for being part of R+D for the new cards, something ive always wanted to do for MTG.
Definitely can't wait for this game. Seems like it will provide hours of fun for a long time. So far, I've enjoyed using the (slippery little devil) Thief to steal items. Always fun to screw over your opponent. Would love to be a part of the iphone beta!
This is like the 10th card strategy here which doesn't involve any strategy but just states the obvious ( that is written on the card itself).
i would love to beta test this game. i finally signed up for a forum account after years of reading to ask to test this game. let me know and thx either way.
The best bet would be to check out the Shadow Era Forums and participate in the card discussion there. There is a separate thread discussing each card, about strategies and balancing issues, as well as suggestions for new cards. Active community members will of course be the first to be invited to future betas!
