I just discovered this game over the weekend, and I LOVE IT! I have been very patiently waiting for something similar to M:TG to make its way to the iPhone as I think there is a very large untapped market, and to see this level of detail and care placed into this game makes me *very* happy. My fav card currently is Aeon Stormcaller. If I can put any sort of shield around him, even better.
I'm so excited about this game. I've been playing MTG on my PC recently, but having a portable card game on iPhone would be amazing. I think this is my favourite card - a stroke of genius!
Hi! Sorry for the late application. Here goes: Card: Plasma Behemoth (can't put in a pic as I'm on an iPhone) A card with high HP and the ability to do 6 points of damage per turn (3 unanswered). Strategy: play as many as you can, just as long as they can survive the first turn. After that, use their ability to kill off potentially dangerous monsters. Strategy against: Do NOT let these guys stay on the field. Kill them off immediately. Hope I get in!
Why does being on an iphone make you unable to add a picture? I don't have a problem adding pic's on my iPod...
You can buy booster packs or pre-constructed class decks through in-app purchase on the iphone or from the web version of the game. Or you can buy and sell single cards to the merchant using in-game gold that you earn through gameplay.
Hey,I am new to this forum.I have joined thanks to the message on Shadow Era homepage about the beta iphone app contest. I have played the game and enjoyed it but i have decided not to ruin it to myself playing it too much.In fact i was waiting for the iphone app! I do think that the mobile world of videogames lacks of trading card game and Shadow Era could be a killer application in this genre. I am not very original posting my favourite card, but it is a choose of attitude more than a strategy. The card is This card grants you a nice control of the game. You can draw a card every 2 turns and so increase your possibilities to control the ground. I have put in my deck a lot of direct damage. The goal is to resist for first turns killing enemy's allies and then winning using your card advantage. Problems begin when you face another deck based on direct damage and control ground but faster than mine. (Zaladar deck i.e.). Just a question about the game:i have seen that in the shop there are cards related to some hero classes that aren't avalaible in the shop (warrior, hunter). Are these heroes to unlock or simply some new cards coming in future? Keep on with the good job done untill now! This game is going to be LEGENDARY!
Can you buy boosters with ingame gold too? It would add a cool way of gambling to the game since you might get lot better cards than cost of booster but at the same time you got a higher chance to get totally shitty cards and waste all your ingame gold on it.
Not all classes are available right now in the current beta, to focus testing on just a few classes. When the game is released, you will get to choose a free human class deck of 30 common cards, either Warrior, Hunter, Mage, Priest, or Rogue. The way it works is that boosters and new class decks can only be purchased with Shadow Crystals. These crystals you get from in-app purchase on iPhone, every time you level up, or by completing free "trial offers" on our website (popular on Facebook games, eg "Sign up for Netflix and get 100 Shadow Crystals"). Players can also trade individual cards with the NPC merchant using gold that is won from battles. The base price is set such that uncommon cards are worth two common cards, rare cards are worth 2 uncommon or 4 common, etc.
As weak as the card may seem, I love using lots of these because they are so cheap that when I combine them with some Arcane Bolts, I can kill 4 health allies pretty quick and still chip away at the enemy hero's health
I love Shadow Era. Would love to be a part of the Iphone/iPod touch beta. My favorite card has got to be Death Trap (Can't seem to find an image of it) Its a great card because it always seems to save me when I'm in a tight situation where the enemy has more allies then I do.
Sounds good. Just a few questions... 1) How many levels are there gonna be? 2) If one card of higher rarity will always only worth double of the ones lower in rarity (no matter how good they are) then how will certain rares/epics/uncommons be better than the other ones? Will their price change over time depending on demand and supply of the card?
My favorite card is healing touch This card will come in handy when one of my cards is about to die, but with this i can give him a good chance to defeat their opponents. This card will help me if any of my cards have poison or fire on them so they wont lose damage per turn.
