I read reviews about this on IGN and figured I will have to give it a spin. Since this thread gives an idea that it is like Super Metroid - no brainer for me. I guess my 360 will unbecome the brick it has become in the last months...
It's ok the Shadow Complex demo but nothing I'd plop down $15 on. XBLA today tried a tower defense game Defense Grid and while it's got decent graphics and all just no way gonna plop down $10 for it when there are excellent tower defense games for $1 to $3 to keep me entertained. For instance level one tower is indicated by green box highlight, level 2 yellow, level 3 red. Geez that's as bad as Star Defense and doesn't visually upgrade the towers like some of the most popular td games on iphone.
