    Options to attack, actual attack.

Spear, could fire in any of the blue directions, red is what you’ve just hit if you went there. You’re black im the middle.

Really sorry could you be more specific please? My native language is not English so i can not understand completely what you said about the red dot. Also your character is all the black dots or just one dot? TIA:)

Playing on my older device (iPad4), every 30 seconds or so, game lags and sounds distort; only lasts 5 seconds or so, but occurs so often, it makes the game nearly unplayable. On my iPhone 8, no issues at all but definitely seems designed for tablet though, too bad for me :(

Your character is a black dot (which, tbf, it also can’t hit. So that sort of makes sense). In both of those examples, you’re the black dot bang in the middle.

You could fire into any of the squares coloured blue.

The red is an example shot - what happens if you fire there.

I assume eg a fireball would have a different pattern, perhaps with a red blossoming.

That sound distortion....if it’s what I’m thinking of, then I get that as well, both on iPhone 8+ and iPad Pro. Turning the “music” slider to almost off fixes it.

So this is a bit of a hang up Im having..... There isn't any. At least not that I can tell.... I watched a game to completion (i know, I suck still) on youtube and literally it just....ends.... Which if thats the case, it really sucks that there is no progression, just a difficult (albeit fun) slog through a dungeon sans progression.... which in my opinion, a roguelike NEEDS that progression if it hopes to have any sort of longevity.

Example, Binding of Isaac. I've got SO many hours in that damn game and there are STILL items I have not unlocked. THAT is why BoI will probably ALWAYS have a spot on my iPhone.... this game tho? I imagine a few more runs with the different classes and I may be all done with this one.... despite how rad it is initially. Dont get me wrong, this game is awesome, and until Into the Breach comes to our platform, it will suffice, but without some unlocks of some sort.... there really isn't that much to stay for.

I agree that the lack of some sort of permanent progression to your characters is a bit of a let down. If it had some sort of permanent stat increase or ability that you kept upon death it would be an incentive for most to keep playing.
But I am currently okay with the game as it is. I have played heaps of rogue games over the years (does not mean I am any good though) so I guess I am just used to starting over from scratch a whole lot of time as I usually die within an hour or so.
However I can fully understand that completely restarting a game with nothing to show for your efforts (except your own experience from playing) would turn a lot of players away.

So far I’m having a ton of fun with this game. The characters are quite diverse and each character has a couple of classes to choose from. I have been playing for a solid five hours today and have just entered dungeon level 4 (probably slow compared to most, but I like fiddling with stats in games and agonising over what equipment to use). I am currently running five characters (anyone know the team limit?) and I am finally beginning to be able to pick their specialisation class. Playing on normal difficulty feels really balanced so far. I love that tactic decisions really seem to matter.
I’m starting to run into some really nasty enemies now however and I can feel it in my bones that my little band of warriors may not be long for this life.
Luckily you don’t have an option to give your characters a name, so I wont feel too sad on their demise.
The fun for me in this sort of game will be trying different character builds rather than taking my first team to the end.
Though once I do (if I do) finish the game, unless there is some sort of after game, I will probably uninstall.
Still damn good value for the money!

Oh and I love a game that changes your characters appearance when you equip stuff. Heck I just turned my thief into an assassin and was happily surprised to see he automatically got a hood, to give him that dark sinister look  (a tip here..... if you are always running out of money pick a thief. Their ability to steal gold from enemies is a sweet skill to have).

    Well thats a right bummer.
After writing all that guff above my game is bugged.
Level 5, game opens to main menu, tap on continue, game starts for a second and then crashes.
No way to contact devs as they are asian with no english as far as I can see.
Corrupted saves are always vulnerable with a game that has only one save. Just a real pain when you can’t contact the devs.

oh well, might give rogue mode a go now and hope whatever the problem was has gone away. :(

    Edit:
    Oh dear.
New game has just crashed too. Looks like it wasn’t the save that is corrupt but the whole game. Hopefully a reinstall will fix because an iPad reboot didn’t.

    Further edit:
Nope. Game keeps crashing. Well it was fun while it lasted. Time to try for a refund.

    Last edit (I hope):
Well I found the problem, I think.

In the options you have “Auto Select”
Turning that option OFF will cause your game to crash when it is your turn. I tried this on my iPhone game as well and sure enough the game crashed.

Hopefully this may be of help to others. :D

This game is incredible. I cannot stop playing. Why is it not popular?!? The developer needs to advertise the game. After enough people actually see it, it could likely take off. But a proper trailer needs to be made as well as a website and social media promotion.

If you enjoy this game though, please, please give it a rating. It's low on ratings right now, even though it's so good!

Some people say they've found hidden gems, but the game explodes in popularity and is no longer a "hidden" gem. This game is truly the definition of hidden gem. It's amazing, yet still somehow unpopular. But this developer is dedicated, the graphics are unique -- maybe not breathtaking based on personal preference, but definitely unique. The controls simply work. There are zero instructions but it's honestly not too hard to figure out the basics. However, the best part has got to be the environmental element! Hiding behind stuff, shooting explosive barrels is sooo much fun! In that way, it reminds me of dungeon warfare. They aren't really similar at all but that satisfaction from enemies getting caught in traps -- that's the same.

Don't get me wrong though, it's not an easy game. I find the easy difficulty is relaxing enough for me. Normal difficulty isn't super hard but I keep messing up in small things like facing the wall so some enemy can slam me into it. The difficulty is just high enough that you have to think a little, but not enough that you're panicking over every move.

I found a bug -- if you accidentally click on the potion button and there are no friends nearby to heal, you can't cancel it. You should be able to cancel accidental clicks. In combat, a single undo is okay for movement and fighting, but out of combat, I used it by mistake :( Out of combat, you should be able to undo anything!

My one suggestion is to not have the "end turn" so close to the character swap button. I accidentally end my turn and get slaughtered due to a wasted turn.

    It would be fantastic if:
    -fire could spread to crates
-your characters could be female (or, you can aesthetically characterize them)
    -some music would be great!
    -even more variety in environment!
-wall traps (if this doesn't exist already)
-I need more content!!!!! This is so addicting!!!!!! Are you planning on adding content?

I get that those suggestions are excessive though. But it would be sooo cool if they were added!!

I saw this and went....whaaaattttt?!?!

I then went straight to the game, went into combat and low and behold I saw it! An little undo turn button appears up the top right hand side of the screen on your characters turn!
I have only been playing this game for countless hours and from day one always thought to myself “I wish this game had an undo button”, because my big fat finger misstaps some times.

I can only blame it on the fact I play on the big iPad Pro and was looking at the bottom of the screen where all the other buttons are and never noticed it appearing during my characters turn. o_O
That or I really do need to get some new glasses.

Thank you so much TheSilveryWolf for pointing out something to perhaps the only person on this planet that missed this little gem of information. :D

I got playing this some more last night. And yeh, I agree it’s a really great game. With its quirks, but the gameplay is something we don’t quite have on iOS. Similar in style to Into The Breach though maybe not quite as puzzle-y in that you can’t hit enemies off in to water with immediate removal from the game. Rather this game is more focused on doing damage to enemies.
Then there’s the roguelite part which is very cool. Gives the turn based mechanics that urgency, and you need to always be thinking about best path to level up and strengthen your squad. ie, do you take the gold or the experience points. Do you buy a weapon or hire a new member for your squad etc. And being able to jump on the map to any room is really handy.

The interface is a little clunky yes, and some text leaves you wondering what precisely will happen if you take that described action or option, leaving you with only one option but to try it out so you know for your next run. Text could definitely be tidied up.

Just one suggestion at the moment:

    - I wish the undo move button worked like Into The Breach where you can undo everyone’s move until any of them take an attack shot. This allows you to plan out placing your guys better. The way this game does it is if you take a shot (ok yes), or even just move another character, the turn gets Locked in.

But I’m looking forward to diving back in sometime. Again there isn’t much like this on iOS and it fills a bit of the Into The Breach void that we have at the momen
