No, there is always a clear hint. Only a few switches are hidden and you have to look for them closely. And like Zelda, or a Metrovania-like, you need certain abilities for the secrets. Later, you'll open shortcuts to previously visited areas (think: Dark Souls) so you can go back easily to solve riddles and find secrets with newly aquired abilities. But just swiping at random stuff doesn't work. Spoiler There is also a secret in every area that you can only solve in the absolute endgame, just before the final boss fight. Don't worry, you'll be able to solve all the secrets, some later in game, but that's intentional by the devs.
What do I need to do here? I can't open the blue gate. I am completely stumped. Last secret on the level.
Spoiler When you look at the gate, there's a switch behind you. Look behind some vines at the upper wall by swiping slowly with two fingers
I don't normally do reviews but this is one of the best games I've played on iOS. Wonderful mood and perfect touch screen gameplay. The addition of puzzle elements is just the icing on the cake. Highly recommended. Now to look for similar type games.
Can't get over the beautiful style of this game. I'm a bit stuck though; been wandering around trying to figure out how to progress. Any tips?
I'm stumped on this same level. Got past the blue gate with no problem. But cannot find a staircase to the third floor. The deck that is outside has a gong type thing with a sun on it which I suspect is part of the puzzle to continue but I cannot figure it out and can't move on. Any clues as to what I need to do?
On sale! I feel dirty when procrastination pays off. But my wallet loves me. Halloween sale buy cha-Ching.
If I buy here do I get the 3ds version as well? Read something like that on the eshop and wondered if it applied everywhere
No, it's cross-buy with the Wii U version if you buy the 3DS version. There's no reason to make the game cross-buy from an iOS version to a Nintendo console version.
A question on saving: does it auto save, or can you save and restart at any time? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The game autosaves at frequent intervals. You can usually replay your last fight or so (unless you perish), should it really not be to your satisfaction, by force-quitting the app.
