Okay thanks for the response. So it appears there are elements of both. (Chance and strategy) I'm torn between getting this game and getting resynth. Decisions, decisions.
Is it weird that there are apparently in app purchases inside this game but there are none listed on the App Store page for this game? If this has IAP, shouldn't they be listed on its App Store page? (Down at the bottom where they usually are)
Get both # I think Donsol was a Train Jam game. It's a great quick-fix solitaire dungeon game. This one is def worth $1
I have seen a lot of games in the App Store that only have "offers in-app purchases" written under the games title but the actual iaps are not listed down the bottom of the page. While I think that is fine with free to play stuff, I think it is wrong, and a bit deceiving, not to show the what the iaps are on a game that you have to purchase first.
If you think that's bad I recently bought a game for 2.99 that didn't even have IAP listed I thought it was a premium game but after I bought the game and opened it up, it was absolutely full of them.
Wow okay. I had no idea. So, it's deceptive but not necessarily unheard of. Hmmm. I will have to think about it now. Thanks for the information.
Ouch. I'm sorry to hear that. Thanks for the info.... it's kind of making me lean more towards resynth now but I'll think about it. The game may still be worth it even without IAP bought.
A game in the AppStore will always show if it offers in app purchases, but exactly what they are will only show up in a list as buyers purchase them. i.e. if a game shows iap's but doesn't list them, it just means that nobody has bought any iap's yet.
What? That's really weird. Well, I'll say this: selling content in chunks instead of as currency is preferable. $1 for the base game is fair, although I think they would do better with Free since they would get more people in the door to potentially buy the IAP. Still not sure if I want to bite, myself. I don't like that they don't show gameplay in the trailer. In theory this game is right up my alley but I'd like to see a gameplay video first. I have a bad habit of buying iOS games I never end up playing so I'm trying to curb my impulse purchases.
Are you sure? It still doesn't show the iaps at the bottom of the page in the App Store for me. Surely someone has bought something?
i bought this game, and its like card crawl ( the concept) you habe a deck and you need to clear the deck before your hp go to 0. For that you got weapon, armor, potion. And you have in the deck monster, trap. Its really like card crawl with less depth
I think it's a card crawl with more RPG element but with less strategy. I'm glad it only cost 1RMB(about 1/6USD) in Chinese App Store. The IAPs are the same price as other app store, but still be worth to try.
