A recent blog post of mine sparked a small flood of advice about "creative" marketing. So I'm gonna try something out - more of a challenge than a contest, but if this pans out everybody wins! I will make my new and ridiculously fun game Pollywog FREE FOR A DAY if at least one of the following criteria is met in 1 week's time (end of day February 10, 2010). 1). I hit 350 followers on Twitter: http://twitter.com/ChaoticBox (my follower count is currently over 100, and I reserve the right to boot off bots and hookers!) 2). This thread convinces the Touch Arcade overlords to mention Pollywog (and the freebie promotion) on the front page of toucharcade.com As soon as either of those happens (and I'm awake to see it) I will set Pollywog free worldwide for 24 hours. I find your lack of faith disturbing! I figure if I can at least get the boys to try it, maybe one of them will actually like it. I promise the game is at least as fun as the typical "see how far you can go" games, but instead of random crap tossed in your face you get carefully designed unlockable levels with fully interactive physics. It's painstakingly polished out the wazoo - from the graphics to the menus to the 4 song soundtrack. Show some love dammit!
Of course I sent codes (back in December) but I'm sure TA gets thousands of codes a day and I doubt that even 10% ever get used. Fresh codes are waiting if they want them, but TA isn't stingy when it comes to trying stuff out - if they want it they'll just as soon buy it. It's up to you guys to make them want it

I don't want to encourage spamming the TA guys (really, I know they get a lot of that already!) but if you find the game at all intriguing please do post your impressions or questions in this thread. OK! Seriously, this is on the todo list, but it's difficult to get the work done until the game at least breaks even - hence this crazy thread!

I don't think I want to read the definition. I want to make sure the name isn't tainted like a couple other things I was curious about on Urban Dictionary D: And yes, we know. Someone posted that they thought it said Pollywag at first, and thus the conversation of crazy definitions and pokemanz ensued.
