How to unlock the heroes promo cards How to unlock the heroes promo cards Spoiler Legacy Let Baron Blade kill legacy on Mars while he has that card that redirects all damage to him Bunker Change 3 different modes in one game Tachyon Put 5 burst cards into the discard pile in one turn. Wraith Use infrared sensors (or goggles) twice in one turn. If anyone knows the villain ones, I would like to know too.
I'm not really happy with the locking of promo cards behind "hidden" conditions. As has just been shown by the previous post, they are hidden only until one person posts about them on the Internet. It would have been much better to have overt but difficult to achieve conditions.
Unfortunately gotta agree with this. I had a peek, and they seem a little, for lack of better word, random. I know they're somewhat themed. It's just dedicated achievements if possible might have been more prestigious rather than discovering them potentially by fluke. I guess now that the secrets out, they're not quite flukes. But achieving goals through hard work is more satisfying. Lol I should be a motivational speaker. Anyway. Despite all that. Good work on the game. I think it's great anyway.
Thanks but, wow, those are amazingly specific! Does reading through the lore even hint at any of these?
The one for variant Legacy is from lore, but, humorously enough, not from lore found in the current iOS app. It's something from the lore for Iron Legacy (an evil alternate timeline Legacy). http://sentinelsofthemultiverse.com/multiverse/villains/iron-legacy The rest are not tied to lore, but are things that might come up naturally. I unlocked Tachyon's variant through a regular game because that's how I play that character. Bunker's also seems pretty based on an idealized play-through with that character. I found Wraith's odd, though, as that's something I wouldn't consider an ideal tactic.
A slight revision here, I'm thinking Legacy's promo might be a bit simpler than initially assumed: Spoiler It would appear merely having Legacy killed by Baron on Mars does the trick as I definitely was not using that specific card mentioned when I died.
Villain Unlocks Variant Baron Blade: Spoiler Citizen Dawn play-through: Defeat Citizens Blood, Sweat, and Tears in a single turn. See @DomanRyler's tweet for confirmation. Variant Omnitron: Spoiler Something to do with Warlord Voss, unconfirmed what triggers it but believed to have something to do with the Stalwart and Conqueror. See tweet from @SeeSome for a hint on what might trigger it.
Wow the next content update is out. Looking at the promised content for the season pass, they are apparently really committed to keeping this game alive...
At 2x the cost of the base game I'm not really enticed by the season pass, especially when they don't even give you any sense of how much you'd be saving. Plus there's the question of whether the content will actually be delivered, I'm no longer as trusting of developer promises on iOS.
Detailed breakup of content in season pass: 3 heroes, villains and environments in mini packs 2 heroes, 4 villains, 2 environments each in Rook City, Infernal Relics, Shattered Timelines, Wrath of the Cosmos Total: 11 Heroes 19 villains 11 environments At least some of those heroes and villains are rehashes/redesigns. So for $20 you get nearly the same amount of heroes, five times as many villains and nearly three times as many environments. And for $2 you get about half of one of the expansions. Assuming that the expansions are going to be $5, the individual cost of the purchases is $26. That saves you $6 on the season pass, about 25% off.
If you are jailbroke, you can edit the ipa to make it work. Will be small on anything smaller than a 6+
Here is a link where the season pass and pricing is explained. http://steamcommunity.com/games/337150/announcements/detail/148950886512399030 Effectively, you get the mini packs for free.
So I was right I guess. Still going to pass on the season pass for now, maybe once they have a few expansions out as proof of delivery.
Rook City Expansion Update is live on the AppStore "The first main expansion is now available! Rook City includes Expatriette, Mr. Fixer, The Chairman, The Matriarch, Plague Rat, Spite, Pike Industrial Complex, and Rook City. Expansion Season Pass 1 owners will automatically receive Rook City. The all-new damage dealing animation shows modifiers and the end result in an exciting way! Fixed a problem relating to Backlash Field reacting after Baron Blade is destroyed. Cards next to and under other cards are now more easily identifiable in the card selection screen. Many more small bug fixes and improvements have been made."
Also, for those of you who hadn't unlocked all of the original hero/boss variants, you can get codes over at www.sentinelsdigital.com to unlock them. Basically the devs new way of handling unlocks is pretty clever and multi-tiered. 1) Initially they will tell you nothing. 2) Later, once those out in the community have figured out how to unlock the variants, the information on how to do so for yourself will be listed over at their webpage (as listed earlier). 3) After a month has passed (05/14/15), they will provide you with a code to simply unlock each of the variants if you just want the content without having to jump through hoops. So now with each new variant introduced it will go from having to guess blindly on your own to, if you wait 30 days, having a code to unlock them.
