Thanks for entering, folks! A quick roll of the dice over at random.org, and... ...our winner is aconfusedkender! I'll PM you your code here on the forums in a minute. Taking a break from competitions for half a day, but I'll probably run a #FridayFreebie on Twitter tomorrow. I'll post here when we're up and running so you don't miss out
Damn first I won a copy of Phantom Rift 3 days before it came out and now THIS!!! I think I need to go buy a lottery ticket or something! This is too much gaming for me to handle in one week hahaha. Good thing I'll LIVE FOREVER!!! Thanks again Drone
New competition! Follow @Origin8 and tweet this to enter: I'll pick a winner at random at around 6-7pm UK time
Today's promo winner is @BamBamRicky! Dunno if they post here but it wasn't a requirement this time - if you see this check your Twitter DMs. That's it for now, but I'll probably think of something that doesn't require a Twitter or Facebook account (just good old TA posting) for next week. Stay tuned!
New competition, and as promised you don't need a Twitter or Facebook to enter. PM me the answer to this question: How many unique maps are in Sentinel 4: Dark Star? I'll pick a winner from the correct answers about 24 hours from this post. Enjoy!
XXX unique maps Thanks! Edited and pm'd. I am so so so sorry! I hope I didn't ruin the contest! I am a little tired. ( Lavender feeling a little stupid # ) Ok confused.... You'll need to edit your post! LOL)
So as I won a copy of this i will do my due diligance and post some impressions on it. First off it is a very polished game and very good graphics. It is a TD game like most others but has a few things different. IMHO I am a little "overwhelmed" by the fact that you have to pay for everything in the game that seems to almost "push" you to grinding. There are sooo many upgrading options that I think it almost dilutes the game and gameplay. I like the game mind you but also due to the fact that you have to pay so much for so many different things I think that the money should be ramped up per level. I hate to compare this to other TD's but I like the more simplistic approach of upgrades like a Kingdom Rush where you have a pretty limited progression and not an overwhelming amount of options. Now to some this is your game and your type of game where you have a FULL REIGN over what you want to put money in to, but not for me. All in all it is a very pretty game and I would give it a 4 out of 5 stars due to the grinding factor of this game. Like I said this is just my opinion and yours might be different but don't bash me for mine. Thanks aconfusedkender
Couple more hours left to enter! Thanks for the write up confusedkender, always good to get some feedback. While there are a lot of available upgrades you shouldn't feel the need to grind for credits if you're playing through the campaign on normal - just beef up your favourite weapons and abilities and you'll do fine. You're definitely NOT expected to have everything maxed out to beat the campaign, even on Psycho.
And today's winner is Icedlatte - check your PMs for your code! I'll probably do another #FreebieFriday (or is that #FridayFreebie?) on Twitter tomorrow, I'll post here to let you know.
