It's hard getting recognized by the big guys when developing your own games, and it's easy to fall off the radar. I sent this to the touchArcade guys in hope they'll review my game. Do you think it'll work?
At least we'll be one step closer to uncovering the secret of just how cold-hearted and evil they are if they decide not to review it.
Cute pictures are great, but is your game any good? If they don't like it, you won't want them to review it...
It's actually a pretty fun game, I gotta admit. Picked it up after seeing this; you almost had me crying (yes, I'm emotional like that XD) Definitely recommended.
*sniff I may not be able to review it for you on TA, but I can buy it After making me feel guilty enough to buy it with that super-great picture, this game better be really good
Thanks dude, didn't mean for you to feel guilty, but thanks for checking my game out! Hope you enjoy it!
I am enjoying it a lot, actually. I sometimes find myself oddly attracted to difficult games, and this is one of them. Are you on Game Center? I'd like to know your score to see if I can get a higher score than the creator himself
Yeah, I'm machineboy on GC I think my official record is around 10000 meters, but I've had some pretty good runs when testing this latest build.
Well well, I think I have proved that the TA review team are cold and heartless and show a strong resistance to teary puppy dog eyes. Nah - only kidding. They probably haven't reviewed my game yet because they're busy playing it, trying to get a high score
Oh comon, how did you know what I was doing for these days. You game looks good, and I may give it a shot as soon as my homework done.
Just a quick shout, my game was recently updated to 2.0 with a brand new game mode called Cloud Jump! It's pretty cool, I think you'll like it. Video trailer: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/app/flap-flap/id413081441?mt=8#
I've recently updated my game to include HD graphics when running in zoom mode on iPad! A quick'n'dirty video here: Please check this game out if you haven't already. Still only a buck! http://itunes.apple.com/app/flap-flap/id413081441?mt=8#
Wait - so games can run in HD on the iPad at 2x if the game supports it? But then again, why didn't you just make it universal so you don't have to tap the 2x button, nor run the risk up accidentally tapping it and ending up in small screen again?
Making it universal is a huge job because of the screen differences on iPhone and iPad. Basically I would need to code the game in a new resolution with taller graphics. It was far easier to fool the iPad to use the Retina graphics when running in full screen. Since the game only uses one button I hope there won't be many zoom button accidents
