      and thinking of getting an iPhone later.
      It's a 16gb 2g touch in pretty good condition, I was wondering what a sensible price on eBay would be? It also has an engraving on the back, does that lower its value :(

      I think the engraving does lower the price, but it really depends how much based on what the engraving is. If it's like Happy Birthday YouAllEverybody, I'd say that's a biggie.

      Start the bidding at $40-$50. Hopefully you'll get $110-$120 for it

      Yeah, that's actually a pretty funny engraving. You'll probably get close to maybe 50% of the price for your iPhone. If it's good condition, you're fine. Just gotta word your description so it's attention grabbing. Smiley faces always help. Psychological thing ;)

      haha well seeing as there won't be a new iPhone model for another 2-3 months I'll probably be waiting until then :eek:
      just contemplating the idea
