Check your minimap, and look at that tiny blue dot in the bottom left. You have to sink in from that sand hole, it's pretty slick haha. The only classes that you can actually use interchangably would be the sword & lance and gunner & lance. They both need STR, but I went 2 STR 1 DEX for that build. Gunners go pure DEX...I really don't think STR matters. Mages are INT and maybe some VIT, so if you try using that and another class consistently thoughout the game, you're going to end up with two weaker classes. Just my thoughts. Dex increases damage for lancers and gives you higher crit chance. That's about it, maybe avoid increase.
The new patch comes with a free 300 SEED points, good for 3 free reincarnations! All the prices seem relatively lower now too.
The prices are much cheaper, it's good. Anyways, I'm lv 52 with stats; STR 46(+6), DEX 37(+4), VIT 44(+22), WIS 20(+2), INT 23(+2) I'm up to the 'King of Shultan' quest and I needa train up HEAPS MORE!! Where's good, and what stats should I raise? I mainly use knight class because you can run faster. Both knight and Lancer weapon levels are about 50% through 10. Just wondering, whats the 3rd shooter skill? It's the only one I'm missing and I can't find any quests around... Thanks!!
Haven't upgraded to the version 2.x.x yet but hoping the controls are better, they are a bit rough. I am on my 2nd run of the game and have finally completed a set (elite set) haven't leveled up enough to start using it yet but i'm looking forward to it. i'll let you know how it compares with the upgraded 59 sets. I have refined some of the set items, if i find doubles i'll refine both one at a time until i lose one, and with socket creation can be done without risk of losing the item so i'm pretty sure the set will easily out perform the 57 and 59 level items. would not buy the expanded items/equipment holders because you get a item/equipment storage box once you finish the game the first time and you get to keep all items, equipment, money, and 33% of stat points. not sure if the equipment box items will be saved on the 2nd run but i intend to keep most valuable items on character when i do finish. The box is nice being located at every city, only dislike is that items will not auto stack so needing to pull from box stack in inventory and then re-put in box to stack. Most definitely found mage to be most useful class. mage spells have greater range which make it easier to level up. 5th and 6th spells are very useful. 5th spell, fire spell covers massive range and 6th spell has hp replenishing properties. at level 6 life spell gives me back about 300 hp per hit on enemies, so i haven't really needed to buy hp potions but quite a bit of mp is used. That's all i got for now, hope this helps.
i think there is a bug with the Dolia Oil quest.. i went through the entire dungeon and could not find any chest with the oil in Kagen Dungeon. anyone has this problem?
I made the same mistake until I read the quest again. You have to do the quest at night which is 22.00 - 6.00.
If you cancel a quest, does that mean that you cannot get 100%? I accidentally canceled a couple thinking that i could reactivate them
I'm new to this game and I'm up to seitan now. Currently dueling the final boss. Got a big question: How did you guys beat the lv 43 final boss? I'm lv 26 and there seems to be no way I would win unless I stock up 1000 potions and spam them all the way till he's dead. Obviously I don't have the money to spend on 1000 pots. I beat the first guy (the one with the axe) using the hit-and-run strategy. However, this does not seem to work against the final boss since the he has magic skill (the one with boulders falling from the sky) which hits me for 50-60 per hit (it always hits me at least once even though I'm running). his sword hits me for 100-110 per hit. If memory serves, my stats are 48 str, 46 vit, 17 dex, 0 wis, 0 int. I'm using 1H sword btw (I also use gun and lance occasionally.). Unfortunately I don't have any points spent on INT so using magic is not an option Also, what would be the best sword skills to raise? I'm thinking of the 1st skill (due to knockback and spammability) and the 5th skill. I have 7 skill points and haven't spent any. One more question: How do you learn buff skill? Do you just learn them by doing the main quest? I only have 3 buff skills whilst my weapon has 5. I read somebody mentioned using defense-buff skill to beat the boss in the previous page so I guess I'm supposed to have learned it by now? Thank in advance!
^I'm also at Seitan and level 33, but I can't even beat the first guy. I also find myself using a crazy number of potions. This strategy will not work for me on the long run. I find that even with monsters that nearly kill me (I have to go crazy on potions) I don't gain that many EXP. What am I doing wrong? I have level 25 and level 29 armors so it's not bad. I'm using a sword and putting most of my points into strength and vitality, but also using some for dexterity. Also I have a bit used on magic/int from the beginning of the game.
Grind on the seiten dungeons for a while. It's going to be near impossible to beat the final boss at lvl 26. You learn a new buff skill every 10 levels automatically.
I am doing the east tower quest in seitan and I have full HP and MP (potions)but keep dying randomly. Why is that? Is there a time limit? I'm continuously killing the soldiers.
There is a time limit. there should be a health bar on the left like the one you get when your under water. that is the health status of the tower. you need to kill 40 soldiers before the tower is destroyed. in this game the use of your skill spells is essential, you need to use them to kill multiple targets to level up fast and complete certain missions well.
I'm not a sword user but from what i can see the 6th sword skill is the best. it casts a ring of lightning around the user. That would for sure be the skill i would want to raise, since it gives you a bit of range and allows you to attack multiple targets at once. for your current situation you'll probably want to use your 5th skill that actually has some range but risky since your putting yourself in line with his strong attack. if you have the lance skill land wave i would just use that because it has a bit of range and can stun your enemy long enough for you to refill your mp and hp and create some distance for the next attack/attacks. i have not found any way to specialize in using the gunner as your limited to long range battles and you can't always kill your target before he approaches you.
grouping items I am also around level 35 and in Seitan but don't understand how items are grouped and what the benefits are? Can someone help me? I have read they are grouped by color but I also have read that they are grouped by name, whats the deal? Do you have to have all equiped weapons and armor of the same color/name at the same time to see any benefit? What benefit to you get and how will I know if I get it? Any info on this would be helpful! Thanks in advance!
Mages are ridiculous for the Seitan battles. My lancer was at 28 when I beat em both. They both took 35ish insta-hp pots and 30ish mp pots. Lancers should alsways use land wave, as someone already said, the stun lets you heal up. If you're using a sword, the best skill to use imo is the 5th one with multiple strikes in the front. Yeah, you'll get hit, but you're dishing out damage and pushing the guy back. Mages are ridiculous. I didn't use a single hp pot for that. I used the fire blast at lv4 and restored mp. I was lv 30 for that. The second guy took 25 hp pots and 30ish mp pots. I just spammed fireblast and ran around.
The colors of the name just mean what element it is i believe. but usually the black letter words have not added bonus but colored usually have bonuses like +25 hp or increase your stats when equipped. Also usually the equpment with yellow words will have the most bonuses. The names you should be concerned with are the ones to a set. Set items when clicked on will show a list of bonuses gained if a complete set(helmet, armor, greaves, and glove) is equipped. if you go to the seed shop you can just click on the sets to see what bonuses are for each set. You'll want to keep just about all the set items you get to complete one. What i do is i refine set items i have duplicates of until i lose one. quite a bit of luck and knowing where to look is involved with completing a set. Just on a side note if anyone encounters the shadow gauntlet or any maid set items can you let me know of the location. also the loco dungeon 3rd floor is an awesome place to grind if your a mage with the fire spell. It is a small space with lots of guys that constantly spawn. so i just move from side to side using my flame spell to rake in kills. I set the speed to fastest and even tho they aren't the highest level monsters, you level fast and can collect all the extreme maul, refining stones, titan and soul stones you need. I don't even bother collecting the gold anymore cause i have so much of it.
Thanks, it was tough but I finally got it. Man, I have to have all my spells and various potions on my quickslot to survive at all in this game (at the highest dungeon levels I die like 10 times before getting through. It's such a contrast between the level right before and the last dungeon level.
