The main thing I don't like is that when you click on "Games and Apps," the "MMO-Add Me-Im a Loser and I Need Friends" sub-forum is listed between the "Games" and "Upcoming Games" sections. I think many of us like to read the two forums about non-MMO games, and skip the MMO forum. Maybe if it were listed lower in the list it would not be so intrusive...
You know, one thing about where the MMO forum is now, since Arn moved it there hasn't been a single MMO code spam thread posted in the wrong place. I think that's worth having to scroll an extra 100 pixels.
All you need is a half page, graphical, blinking signature and you're set. @Hodapp I can't relate. Have not been here that long.
Yeah the games section used to be the whole top half of the page were those codes threads and you'd have to sift through them to find actual games threads. It's MUCH better now that they have their own place and just spam that section where nobody goes now instead.
You should look in to the Greasemonkey plugin for your browser. It has a easy to use scripting language that will allow you to customize any web page, including Touch Arcade to be exactly how you want it. You can remove entire page elements, move things around, change colors or formatting, the limits are literally endless. There is exhaustive documentation online too- http://diveintogreasemonkey.org/toc/
Oh well if you make an outward pinching gesture (moving your fingers apart instead of together) you can zoom in which should make tapping the right forum pretty easy.
It's nice now that we don't have all the bitching about threads that aren't 100% about a game's release. But I kind of liked everything being in one place. I don't always care about the hot new releases, so it was nice to have other threads to keep me occupied in the mean time. Now I feel like I'm constantly switching between pages. And the general games discussion section seems to be a graveyard now. I totally get the intention here. I'm not complaining. Just giving my impressions.
