Yeah the freeze is from Dec. 23-28 so we could see it pop out after the freeze on the 29th, 30th, or even 31st. They just said before the end of the year but I do hope it is this week.
But the games arrive actually earlier... For example Thursday releases in the US (here in California) arrive at 8pm on Weds. They'll probably release it on the usual big release days. Just because iTunes is closed, doesn't mean approved games won't appear. It's not like a person intalls them every week. I'm sure the approval system works like this: game submitted, Apple reviewers approve, approved game plugged into iTunes system with a date for distribution, iTunes system and servers distribute automatically on said date. This is why, even though iTunes connect is closed (no bodies there to approve submission), the system will release already approved titles. So don't fret.
You seriously didnt think I didnt know this much about the appstore, did u? If you did, I know how it all works and I also know apps can be released while iTunes connect is down. That wasnt my point. I was just joking along with sainter when he mentioned another app avalanche this thursday. And btw, no apps will be released when iTunes connect is down. Most devs will avoid messing with appstore during that time coz in case something goes wrong (apps needs to be pulled coz of bugs, or wrong price shows up), there wont be any way to fix it until iTunes connect is back up.
You're awesome. I've got nothing but love 4 ya! My post was geared toward the other individuals who were like "iTunes closed no releases next week" We know: Nova 2 HD, Infinity Blade update, both coming next week I wonder what else could come?
They are both ****ing awesome. Visuals are better in the second one, but the first one has a better story IMO.
Woah nostalgia kicking in. Considering I enjoyed squares other ports I'll pick this one up. I've never really been into the J-Rpg action style games but I'm willing to give this one another go for old time sakes.
