Personally I really don't care about this one anymore now with so many decent RPGs out (and many more coming. Aralon, Inotia3, Queen's Crown, Demon Hunter(must have!), future Gamevil titles like Illusia / Zenonia 3, Gameloft's and more..)

If I had to choose and if I was Square I would cancel these projects and put more effort into finishing FF Tactics and Chaos Rings 2.

Alas, you are not Square. I seem to remember very little info about Chaos Rings came out and then quite an abrupt release. Same with 'Voice Fantasy'. Here's hoping for more of the same.

It is frustrating that there is absolutely no news regarding FF:T or Secret of Mana, but I will say regarding Square Enix's FF releases on iOS so far (I have FF1) - I feel that they've really gone out of their way to make sure that the quality is great and that the touch screen controls are elaborated. Although I'm enjoying Shining Force a lot on my iPhone, its just a port and Sega really dropped the ball in my opinion by not trying to improve or update the game with better graphics, music, or at least better controls. All they give you is a poorly positioned virtual d-pad for crying out loud! Same thing with Phantasy Star II. Pretty sad.

Square Enix has at least done a good job so far with their ports and I'd rather have them do a good quality job with the FF:T and Secret of Mana ports rather than just push out a complete port as quickly as possible without any updates or additional quality adds. Even if that means it takes longer for them.

And they have also added extras like retina display to games like Chaos Rings that came out before the iPhone4 so they do perform after market support as well.

They just seem to take.... longer. :)

I agree dude. PSII is my favourite in the Sega Genesis Phantasy Star series and was really depressed by the horrible controls and lack of any kind of update to anything really. Just a crappy emulator. Good thing I only paid .99 cents for it. If it was updated with touch controls, and reformed graphics to fit the screen well, I would easily pay $4.99 for it.

ouch. I hate this people that makes promo videos that show nothing.
If you get at 50% of the video lengh and all you've seen is the company logo, lower expectations for the next 50%.

Who know Square Enix does a pretty bad job in my opinion of giving out any sorta of news. I have been intently waiting for this game. Their games just tends to appear in the app store like how the Laura Croft one did today.

I know, it's like a slap in the face, but oddly enough gives me more confidence that it might just pop up on Monday or Tuesday next week.

Sweet! I can't wait to finally play Secret of Mana as I've never played it before.

I'd prefer to have this as an iPad app, but since SE hasn't ported over FF 1 or 2 I won't hold my breath for SoM coming to the iPad anytime soon. Although I'll give it a shot on my iPad and see how it looks.

This is the game I'm most excited for. If it comes before Christmas it will be perfect timing! Week off work with Secret of mana!

Well Chaos Rings got a HD version but I don't think any of their other RPG releases did. Chaos Rings probably only got one due to it's sales, so I guess if this sells well, maybe?
