Its amazing! I loved Secret of Mana on the SNES. Yes i miss the Co-Op Multiplayer. Its really sad that its not part of this release. But the game is still awesome. Controls work really good (even after 2 hours). Iam really glad that this is an iOS Release. I missed this game so much.

My biggest worry is how gigantic virtual dpads can be when pixel doubled!

It looks pretty small in all the screenshots though

Actually, last time I tried the best SNES emulator on the iPad, it choked on Secret of Mana.

I'm only in the first town, but had no trouble slaughtering Rabites all the way there. The controls are in a comfortable position, since they are set higher up from the bottom of the screen than some apps are. The Action Wheel is a little wonky, because you drag the icon from screen bottom to screen center, which is cumbersome on the iPad. Tapping the hero instead works fine for me, but your mileage may vary. Still getting used to controlling the wheel itself, but initially at least, it feels less intuitive than the SNES version. It looks good at 2x and I will have no trouble playing through at this resolution. Having said that, I'll still double dip when they release a native version, because this game is a classic. Back to chopping weeds...

    Hmmm..

As long as the dpad is comfortable..

$9 gone and now we can't afford grandmas operation!

As for double dipping. I'm betting there won't be a native version for iPad :(

Okay... I'm playing on iPad and have one problem with it...

The dpad is just there for no real reason!

You have to touch then drag the direction you want to go in you can do this anywhere in the lower lefthand side of the screen.

I don't like the fact that I can't tap left on the pad to go left. I have to tap and drag to go left...

I think I'm gonna pick this up for my iPad too after more reviews. I played this on my SNES when it was NEW!

Co-op sucked because the game paused whenever you needed to access the ring and you needed to access it a LOT, especially when power levelling your spells.
