..... no mp. The original allowed others to play as the other characters. Was a lot of fun on the SNES.

Controls looks nice! Did not see a multiplayer option on the menu bar - any word about blue tooth multiplayer?

No multiplayer option available :( But you do get a 76  page manual to read just in case you want to know how to play the game :D

Hey I'll take the manual. You might want to brush up on attacking :)

  6. awe man i loove this game..
was one of the few games that my sisters would play.. i would take the main and other two sisters would hop on in a supporting role. sure they mostly just ran around aimlessly.. but it was hella-fun :D

$8.99 seems a bit high for such an old game classic or not. I'll wait until it hits 4.99.

This game blew Chrono Trigger out of the water. Never really understood the love for that game. This is an insta-buy for me on the iPhone. :)

LOL have you seen the production value of SoM? The music production alone blows away all of those titles. I think you're a bit delusional my friend.

Not to mention the story, combat system, and, most of all, the characters. Robo and Frog are two of the best characters ever created in a video game.

It looks good on a 4th gen device. I don't think it is retina supported, but it's like hook worlds... You actually can't tell the difference except for some of the text, which looks a bit fuzzy. The only gripe I have with this game is that it can be tricky to get your character to face the right direction Ina fight.

Any improvements over the original so far? I like this game a lot, but if there's no improvements over the original game I might as well just stick to playing it on my SNES.

If you have it on SNES then I think that's the best way to go. You can't beat the feel of the SNES controller. Personally I don't have a SNES anymore so I am really happy this came out on iOS!

I might actually stay up late tonight just to download this. I never do that. have to be up at 5am for work LOL

Thanks for putting up the video.

It actually looks pretty good to me. And gives me hope for Chrono Trigger and maybe someday Chrono Cross.

Good point. Thanks for the input, I think I'm gonna pass on this one for that price tag.

do u require a lot of grinding in this game or not and how good are the side quests? i dont like jrpgs, but such classics have some appeal so i might try this game.
