I totally agree that we should be able to upgrade without worry of apps not working. I wish it could be the case. I'm sorry for saying you're impatient. It's just that this has happened to me quite a few times and I've just decided to stay one iOS behind for years now. Sometimes I don't even update my apps until I have to. If a game isn't broken, I don't want to risk doing anything to break it. I'm with you, and hope they can resolve this app's problems quickly. I hope your other favorites are running great on the slim iOS 9. Personally, I do wish I could get all that space back from this bloated iOS 8!
I don't prefer free to play. In fact, I was one of the early critics of it here. However, this is one of those wish in one hand and crap in the other and see which one fills up faster things. It is what it is and it probably won't change. I simply spend my gaming money on a different system as a result.
The TA app just informed me that this has now been updated. They're probably just going down the list of incompatible games with iOS 9 and finally got to SoM.
Awesome! I'm about to check and make sure thanks for the heads up as this is my fav from the SNES days!
It's working again and so is chrono trigger! Square is on the ball lately which is good cuz I own almost every game they have in the App Store
Unlike some reviews from the App Store, It works fortunately in iOS 11. Secret Of Mana remake version will be released on other platforms(like PC) on Feb. 15. Maybe someday it will even be available on the iOS. But I don't want Square Enix to get its old version out of the App Store. I wrote it down because I still remembered Secret of Mana on my phone.
I have this one on my iPhone X w/latest iOS11 and it runs perfectly fine. Not X optimized, of course, but it does run. Looking forward to the PS4/Vita release on the 15th - I'll probably buy it for Vita. Too bad they didn't release it for Switch, or I'd have bought it there instead. Switch still just has the Japanese (non-localized) Seiken Densetsu collection which I picked up in Tokyo last year, but haven't played yet.
It is a classic. It is worth doing now. If you have any memories of the SNES, I would like to personally recommend it.
Giving it the Chrono Trigger treatment would just ruin it. Id say it would be better to release the updated version thats coming but Ive heard very bad stuff about the gameplay. SE, if you cant do it right, dont do it at all, ok? Stop f*ckin up the games you make when you were a good developing company youre just ruining reputation as Square Soft. Those were your best years and any respectable (old school at least) gamer knows that allowing yourself to merge with Enix just to join forces with your biggest competitor was the biggest mistake youve ever made.
Id sure love that bookmark feature they put into Chrono Trigger. I kept trying to play this, would get an interruption and have to minimize it. And eventually when I came back to it, it would reset to the start screen. So, my progress was lost. Many classics arent made for mobile, so quick saves or bookmarks are needed!
seiken densetsu 3. Recently released as a Nintendo switch. Can we expect to release it on mobile? https://twitter.com/Seiken_PR/status/843658507719127040
