Erm, I have no problems on my iPhone4 - then again I'm on iOS 4.3.0. What iOS version are you running? Perhaps it is a problem with one of the recent 4.3.1 or 4.3.2 updates?
Im on 4.3.2 the latest. No one else having this issue? The game is unplayable, cause hardly any text is legible.
Would you be able to post a screenshot? I'm on iOS 4.3.0 and have had no problems. Did you have the problem before iOS 4.3.2 or did you not play it before then?
hmmm I'd like to give it a shot but I have retina display and I am scared that this looks totally blurry like most 2D RPGs out there, which, at least for me, drastically drains the fun
I had this problem when I first installed it on my iPad, you just have to uninstall and reinstall, I did it with iTunes as well if that helps.
Reviving a dead character? I'm pretty early on in the game (just defeated Tropicallo), but before that, I'd let Primm die, thinking I could revive her later with a Cup of Wishes. After defeating Tropicallo, I added Popoi to my party, but now that I have him, I can't figure out how to access Primm again to revive her, since her ghost is no longer following me. How can I get her back?
Hmm. I think you should be able to get her back after you leave the cave system where you get Popoi. Normally in the game she refuses to enter that area anyway and you don't get her back until after you leave that area. So I would expect that her ghost would return once you get back into the main overworld.
Just wanted to say thank you Cilo This was really helpful since otherwise Primm was running after whatever she could attack (and getting killed), once I switched to your setup and got my levels up high enough I know exactly how to keep her close and it makes the game alot better. Btw I bought this game since it was $4.99 and it is SO worth it I don't really play the time waster iOS games like Tiny Wings, Angry Birds, Doodle Jump, etc. I need real games like Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, FF III, Mega Man II, Mega Man X, Golvellius, etc
Can you play this on a retina iPad in full screen? Can you still use glitches like healing items when you're hit to prevent the damage? Did they change anything in the game balance? The original game was way too easy and imbalanced. Is magic still overpowered? Also, during a normal playthrough you would never see any of the higher level spells.
So super weird. The new update apparently has an exp bug (at least right at the start). My first Rabite kill gave me 2 levels. He is a screen of me still in the first area at level 8.
Is this screenshot comes from the new retina graphics support? It seems blurry ! I would gladly play again the snes version rather than this blurry thing.
