I'm stuck on the dice puzzle, I really think there should be some optional hints in the puzzle screen. Otherwise I love the game, really good story so far.

I only have Catherine's die so far. Can someone please elude me as to the whereabouts of the other 2?

Provided you have all three dice...

...insert them in by birth order of the children (red last, yellow middle, other first)...

...then enter the number that corresponds to the 4-point dot clock above it.

I haven't used it yet but I think blessed water gives you clues if you use it.

The other dice are not immediately obvious. You have to do some exploring to unlock other areas before you get all three.

The get to the next part of the game talk to the young maid in the 3rd floor common room (library?) who gives you a lost key quest, focus on that quest...

Go to the garden entrance (2nd floor) and look in the well to get the key.

That rusty key unlocks the base of the statue where young maid is.

Everything you need to material out of the statue is in the same room as item.

Thanks. I actually found them after I posted lol. It just takes a roundabout way of looking and thinking.

This game is reminding me more and more of Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, which is a really, really good thing.

Yeah I thought of Phoenix Wright when playing this game. It has some similar aspects like presenting questioning and stuff.

Anysways, did anyone get to Chapter 4? I need help on the
living room puzzle. Did anyone solve that?

I've just spent the past 10 minutes looking at the clocks that the dots are supposed to form, and I can't read them...

I don't understand what Alberto means by the hour and minute hand thing either.

The trick to that is looking at the colored dots on each die. Put the die in each of the slots and then the colored dots will tell you what time they tell. Forget about the minute hand. Just look at the hour hand(the shortest distance to the colored dot) and then input the number in the corresponding area.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by shortest distance to the colored dot. If you could give an example for the following that would be great.
    X= Uncolored Dot, O = Colored Dot
    ...X
    X O O
    ...O

In the example you posted the time would be 9 o'clock.
One uncolored dot is always on the 12 (including :00 minutes) and the other uncolored dot on 3, 6, or 9 o'clock.

Let me know if you guys reach Chapter 4 hahaha.

This game really needs a person in the game or something that you can ask hints for anytime.

Yea...the current help system is a bit.......lacking in help. Not extremely useful for when you're really stuck.

Help system? The puzzle mystery is the main selling point; without it there is no game.

Yes, but when it takes a forum group of people working together just to get past the game's first puzzle, you know that a better help system is required if there's any chance of finishing the game individually.

Testing is due to end this week, so the release will probably be at least 2-3 weeks more.

On a side note, I need some help.
How do you open the second safe in the Count's Study with the numbers on the little piece of paper? I've tried entering the numbers in the given order, and entering the bottom set with the top roman numerals as placement, but there are 2 roman numeral II.

Nevermind, I got it. As a clue, look at the books on the shelves. This game is absolutely brilliant.

The roman numerals correspond to the shelf #. So if it's III, you go look in bookcase #3(on the right side of the room on the top). And then you see what number is at the bottom of III. If the number is 8, then you look in the book title #8 from bookshelf #3. Pay attention to the titles of the book because they have a name. Like The Second Sun would be the number 2. ;)

I liked that puzzle. It made me feel good. hahaha.
