Good call on the spike in Apple Watch submissions, everyone wants a piece of that action. And, someone else above pointed out that the number of 8 days I called out for approvals is just the average. I think it is a little premature for us to assume the update got rejected, however if we still haven't seen it by this time next week we might be correct in these conclusions. RE: iCloud saves, no...this app is server based (requires internet connection), so I think if you reinstalled it you'd resume where you left off...as your progress is likely saved on their side.
Per a tweet from Hand Circus yesterday: "we've not heard anything from Apple since submission - hoping it will go into review any day now (which is usually 1 day)". Even though I'm subscribed to Hand Circus' Twitter feed, they've only been replying to questions sent to them which for some reason doesn't get shown in my tweets feed. I only realized this when I looked specifically at Hand Circus and saw several recent tweets talking about the pending update. Ugh.
From HandCircus last night: "Good news! We've just been told by our publishing partners at Backflip that Seabeard 1.5 has passed review by Apple!" "They want to do a few final tests (as this is such a big release) before flipping the switch - but this will only be a few more days max"

Yes! Can't wait to play the update. I've almost got my third mask for daily log-in (the fish mask), but after that I don't know that I would have kept logging in daily.

Today's the day! Yay! Finally I get to go to Doza! Counting down the hours til the update is available this evening (US morning). I will be sooooo disappointed if it doesn't arrive!
What's really disappointing is that I had saved up 700 pearls for the update, but let my daughter play with my phone and she promptly spent 500 pearls... On the plus side I have a larger backpack and can sell 5 fish at once now, so the pearls could have been wasted on worse things. I'm looking at you antique stand!
Twispby, I'm so sorry your daughter spent your hard earned pearls! But now that you have an upgraded fish seller, would you recommend it? I've been tossing that idea around for weeks! Lol!
Time will tell. I think I'll like it. I saved about 70000 coins for th update and haven't been selling fish recently, just sticking them in the remixer, but I'm sure that will change. I didn't realize it changes the stalls look dramatically, which I like, so I might upgrade my other stalls to match someday in the future. Can't wait to be done work so I can download the update.
At least upgrade your fishmonger to level 4, being able to sell 4 fish at a time speeds things up a fair bit.
Thanks twispby and vimn, I'm going to upgrade now. I was afraid upgrading would only give me a que. With faster selling potential, hopefully I'll get back into fishing!

Doza disguise Spoiler Been playing the game almost non-stop for about 4hrs now. I got to the part where I'm supposed to find someone in Larona Village and get a disguise to pass as a Doza, but the only option I'm given, disguise-wise, is the Chinese New Year's stuff. Hopefully this isn't a glitch and I'll be able to dress up as a Doza to continue playing. Maybe Disguiso will change the clothing options at night time or something? IDK. But for now the game looks cool. (to read, just highlight the text with your cursor) Pro-tip: if you haven't done so, try to catch and save lots of stone fish and reinforced wood pieces. They will come in handy. Also, try to make a few wood/sawmill dust. That will also come in handy. Somehow I suspected the stone fish and reinforced wood pieces would come in handy so I slowly collected some. Enjoy!
Stupid gold ring I thought this would get solved, but no. I continue to have one of the missions to find a missing gold ring showing up as incomplete, even though I gave Frank his silly ring. Grrr. This is my only issue with Seabeard thus far. That one mission, even though it's completed, it never gets removed from my missions board. Grrrr
