If the quest is from Polly on Bullhorn Island, I almost always find it in the apple tree near the cows. If you have uncollected apples on the ground it will not drop....good luck!

Tap just a head of the fish, once the bobber is in the water and the fish surfaces move the "reel" back and forth to "wiggle" and get the fishes attention.

I thought the big 1.5 update was going to hit last week, but all I've heard is crickets chirping. Has anyone seen anything from our friends at Backflip?

Still no update... I only log in every day to grab the daily bonus and fix the lighthouse for some extra pearls. The game definitely lost its fun.

Sadly they have lost lots f people due to delay after delay. They can't even get a person to reply back to the ever growing bug list either. Isn't that hard to do but I guess they feel otherwise. Sadly when you do get a reply it is a canned response that has nothing to do with the issue!

    Going crazy

I was hoping that with the wait for the update, I could level up my crew and earn some coin, which I have done. But I have to admit, it's getting borrrrringgggg. I sign in, get my daily rewards, do whatever quests I can at that moment- and that's it. Come on Handcircus, let's get it rolling!

Hello! Apologies for the radio silence but we have been entirely engaged with an epic battle with bugs for the past two weeks and that has been the focus of all our our attention. Picture the end of the second Lord of the Rings film but with more mice and keyboards. Just when we thought there were no more, more descended!

But now the good news is… we SUBMITTED YESTERDAY! Seabeard 1.5 is now in the hands of Apple and the bugs are no more! It took us a *lot* longer than we thought it would as this release was so much bigger than previous versions and there was a great deal more more to test. Next time we’ll try to give better estimations :)

I know you all want to get your hands on the latest release, with the continuation of the story in the new Doza Seas Chapter, the clothing and accessory collection buildings, boss beast hunting, waitressing, egg-hunting and much more. We’ll let you know as soon as the release is approved by Apple and is live in the App Store.

Android users, we’ve not forgotten you - this will now be our primary focus now as we iron out the remaining bugs to make sure it runs on as many devices as possible!

    Thanks again for your patience!

Hopefully, Apple releases the update soon. I'm not sure how long a process that is, or what days they typically release updates?

I did finally purchase all the Chinese New Year gear since I heard it won't be available once the update is out.

    Can't wait!

Well obviously something happened to the update since it doesn't take 2+ weeks for review. Typical of this game, hype there is an update and take many weeks before it even gets in the hands of customers.

The date of the big post by Handcircus is 4-11-15. In that post they said they submitted the day previous which is 4-10-15. That means it's only been 3 days since apple has had the update. I'm not sure where you're seeing a post on 4-2. I don't see any posts by anybody on that day.

I hope the new clothing buildings are available early in the new update. Half of my warehouse is full of clothing...

Current average Apple App Store review time is 8 days (appreviewtimes.com), so based on a Backflip submission on 4/10, the update should be released on Sat 4/18 or Sun 4/19 (depending on how late in the day on the 10th it was submitted). And yes, Apple reviews and approves apps over weekends.

Let's all cross our fingers and hope that Apple didn't reject the update...

I suspect they did. Par for the course for this company especially for this app. They have lost too many people due to their inability to get updates out (more hype, less on when). Doesn't take this long for app update approval.

Wow that would truly be dissapointing. With fantastic apps coming out every week that compete for our attention, it seems like the user base will be much less than aew months ago when the excitment was at a fever pitch. I stopped loggin in about 2 weeks ago (even the daily reward and lighthouse weren't enough to keep me going). Here's hoping the update has plenty of great stuff to make the wait worth it.

We all want the update to come. 8 days is the average, yes, but it is an average. if you check appreviewtimes.com you can see that some take less time (I see 3's, 4's, 6's, and even a few 1's and 2's) and some take longer (12's, 15's, 24's and even a few 50's). Did the update get rejected? Maybe. It's only been a few days over the average. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

The app could also be delayed if Apple want to approve all the Apple Watch apps first.

I'm seeing a lot more update with Apple Watch support listed in the version history.

Does Seabeard have iCloud save? I deleted it ages ago because it got boring waiting for new content and iOS 8.3 has patched the documents folder so I can'r restore my progress from my PC anymore.
