Never happened to me there. I love catching box fish. They don't fight as much as the Ruby fish. Oh speaking of Dorado Mine, has anyone joined the Pirate Gang for 50 pearls? Is it worth 50 pearls? This just in : It's now official. I just finished Seabeard as it exists today. SIGH... On the plus side I can now amass a small fortune before we are asked to fork out large amounts of coin for the next builds.
You got an extra cooking machine so you can cook twice as fast. And two smuggling missions every night. So for me it was worth it.
I already get 2 smuggling missions every night and sometimes 3 or 4 if the Postperson or the guy who owns the boat shop asks me to deliver a "special" package. After you delivery the pirates package (in the pub) wait about an hour then go back in. if you time it right he will be there with another package. I usually catch him twice a night. I had a great Box fish catch tonight. I caught 4 in one night. I usually only see 2 possibly 3. Now that I've finished the game I'll be cooking and fishing a lot in prep for the new update. Gotta build the coinage.
Fez! Just won a Fez from the remaker! It's got 2 different stats: 2 windmill & 1 plant respawn. Don't really need those buffs, though. But it's good to know you can get 2 stat items.
That's great! I didn't know 2 stat-ers existed. My last try I Put in 2 root blast and other bits and got 1 root blast in return.
An earlier post asked about restarting. This is the best I could do. I guess if you are at the end of the storyline and want something to do while waiting for the next content update, starting a new file could keep you busy. And you could try different tactics or perhaps trading with yourself to gain an advantage.
It's a calm morning here in NZ compared to the nasty thunder storms of yesterday. But it is still a good morning to play Seabeard. Can anyone one tell me which mini games give the barrel of explosives for 1st prize? Thanks.
All mini games at medium or hard difficulty can drop barrel of explosives. It is a random chance. You can also get them from the remaker anytime you put 100 value or more. From the small sample size other people did, it seems to have a 5% chance to drop.
Rock golems I read that the traders house for the antique dealer needs 2 rock golem powders and 1 rock plank 1 purple paint and 2 narwhal horns. Is this correct? I only have access to the first part of the temple ruins so there are only two rock golems a day to fight and collect pieces from. It will take forever to save up pieces if I only get two a day. Does anyone know how fast the monsters respawn? I played this morning and eight hours later still no rock monsters. Does the next part of the temple ruins open after you complete the fifth trader home?
Correct, and 5,000 coins. I also only have 2 rock golems so I'm being patient enough to kill the gnomes everyday and saving whatever the monster dropped. I think the monster respawn every 12 hours
I was about to ask the same thing I also wonder about the astronomer at whiseman reef, she never give quest...
While I've never had a quest from Derek, I have had several from the Astronomer. She will see a a thief and will ask you to get him and bring him back to her. She also has other quests, but I can't remember them right now.
This morning I discovered that my interest in continuing on w/Seabeard w/out major quests is waning. Just building my monetary wealth isn't enough. I know I need to do this because as game history has taught me, things get more and more expensive, while income remains low. And just as you finish building or decorating for one quest another heavy on the coinage quest comes up. It's all about the $$$, 'bout the $$$, 'bout the $$$, little income. The new update can't come fast enough. Is it here yet? Any suggestions on keeping the game exciting enough while we wait for the new update? I thought fishing & hunting monsters and gathering clods would keep me going, but no, it's not happening.
Thanks guys. I've been customizing as much as I can all along. As a matter of fact I have way too much furniture and I'm going to ask Hand Circus to open up the library, and both training academies and allow us to decorate in there. They want us to spend $$ on furniture and plants then we need more room. I do log in for the rewards and love doing the lighthouse puzzle.
