I remembered the first day I played this game... I needed to make red paint, tomato doesn't grow for another 3 days.... It almost turned me away from playing.... It's true the beginning of this game is a painful grind, but it gets better every extra week you get into it and every update gives you more to do. While you wait for the tomato, save up. Fish a lot, sell a lot of fish, learn a couple recipes.... I suggest the apple juice and fruit punch, then you can turn raw materials into things that are worth 3 times it's price. Coin always comes in handy. Lucky you with the new update, you can Pay pearls to have all the crops grow in one day. You can get that through the council mandate, the board outside of the farm. I suggest you do that if you have the pearls.... Especially if it saves a few days of wait time.

You probably picked up the wrong statue like I did. Spoiler There are 2 statues. One in whiseman and one in larona.

Is there a chance the Head statue and Tail statue got mixed up? It happened to me - i found the 'wrong' statue first so yes i was right, but not really cause it was in the wrong order
Some pearl items sell for gold at the shop randomly. I think it is fairly rare. And yes I believe she gets those pearls. Second either hold onto clothing that has "2" on something you are trying to focus on or just hang on to clothing that has "3" in a certain stat. 3 stat clothing is usually the pearl costing clothing.
No problem. Just to be a little more clear 3 is the max number of stats a clothing can have, beside mask which always have 5. So you can have yourself, 3 crew members, and a pet wearing clothing. That means 4 possible mask or 4 possible levels. That leaves 11 extra spots for 3 stats clothing or 6 possible levels with 3 stats just hanging out. Therefore the maximum amount of levels you can have total is 10. You can not max everything clothing related, so you got pick something to focus on. Fishing and monsters faster respawn seems to be the biggest money makers. Followed by plant respawn and farm respawn. Cooking faster and milling faster are really nice quality of life upgrades. You can't increase the rate of which woods respawns so it is the least helpful crafting faster upgrade. The faster mini games is probably really nice if you play those constantly, but honestly I stop playing those.
Thanks again. Also wondering if upgrades short of a level have any effect or if only completing level 1 and then 2 makes a difference. I'm focusing on plant re spawn and food making for now.
I have found there is some clothing that has 2 stats in 1 item and another 1 in another item. Also most 3+ items will cost you pearls (note I said most, not all!)

You get the library quest relatively near after the Scaretue quest. Only a few easy quests then the library quest. The library is the building diagonally up-right from the fish fountain. I hope I made myself clear.
Mistyball, thank you. Yes, I understand perfectly. I'm building my first statue right now. I have nearly all of the materials. I'm finding that the required logs do not replenish, so I'm having to use pearls to buy them. Thank you.
Hi. I don't know for sure, but I've broken every pot & vase available and have found nothing inside. I've been deep into the next to the last cave (don't want to jump the gun too quickly) and still nothing was found inside those dusty pots. BUT I wouldn't give up breaking them, because you never know.
