My outfit set up Here is current set up for crew For my captain: the chief hat, tomb rustlers outfit (log in reward), and orange sunglasses For my fisher: the earth mask, a dog mask, and the Chinese dance suit For my warrior: black mask and CEO outfit. The hat isn't helping me For my dog: rainbow scarf and rainbow party hat. The mask isn't helping me yet. This puts me at level 2 monster respawn and cooking speed and then Level 1 bush/tree respawn. And I need 3 more points to fast farm respawn. Too bad I didn't grab the fish mask instead of the fighting mask or else I could have fish respawn level 1 as well.
The update is great! Love all the new stuff to do. There will be lots of costume changes now I think depending on what tasks you are doing. I'm gonna have to increase my backpack again possibly.
Wonder if developers keep a log on shop sales today. Bet the numbers went up dramatically after this update..and now one can hope for the " buy a clothing item" quest. Been throwing a lot of my duplicate fish and tail items into remaker to get hopefully other items ..."No!!! I didn't want the money!!" Have also noticed with this version for remaker that it seems that the item that costs the most appears in the remaker more. For example if you put a 100 coin statue ( and it was worth the most) more statue type items appear. Of course this doesn't work with tree remover, tnt, plant remover, etc. But then you gotta love it when you put a plant remover and 4 other items and you get back a plant remover!! I see on the weather map, in 2 days it shows rain and lightning...cool. I think before it was just rain. Guess I'll find out...
It looks like I can wear my Master Mask with the animal mask underneath. That makes for some more possibilities.
The fish chowder now sells at the food stall rather than the fishmonger's stall. (Shellfish stew still sells at the fishmonger.)
Monster drop rates have been changed as well. I used to get 1-2 dark gnome hands a day. Today every single gnome drops a hand including the one on my home island.
New Features Wow, fun new features! Particularly all the ways to make things go faster! Can't wait to try them out. If I am reading the forum and looking through the game correctly, wearing different outfits or placing different outdoor decorations can help you level up everything as well? I have sold almost everything! I guess it's time to restock up on clothes and decorations.
First Problem Well, I ran into my first problem. I changed my Angler's outfit. And now I am trying to put his original back on to up my fish respawning, but every time I try, the game crashes.... Bug? How to fix?
Great update. I went from hating, to disliking, to liking, to loving based on the last few updates. Good job!
Has anyone figured out how the Speedy Training Council Mandate works? I'm finding leveling up the Archaeologist to be very slow and tedious. So I used some of my saved up pearls to buy a week's worth of Speedy Training that says "Leveling up a crew member will take 50% less time." Now, it still take 2 hours for those mud clods to process. And one still only gets 1 XP for every mud clod processed. I went from 160/200 XP in Level 3 to 161/200 XP. It's always been 200 XP to go from Level 3 to Level 4, hasn't it? If so, where does the "50% less time" come in?
It might mean literally the training part of leveling up a crew member. So it takes 12 hours instead of 24.
Ohhh. You're probably right. Well, I just wasted pearls, I guess. Really wish this updated had included some way of making those darn mud clods process faster.
I'm having the same issue, but with the ring quest. I gave the original ring back to Frank Sterling and it's like it never registered. Then, I got another ring quest but this time from the guy on the shore at Woodcutt Isle. I gave his ring to Sterling, thinking this would solve the issue and though Sterling did register it this time, I'm still one ring short. It would be great it I could just buy the ring with pearls or gold coins instead of finding the ring, marking the quest as completed and then be one ring short :-/. But the update is cool. I'm liking the lighthouse and garbage quests.

I found that I haven't gotten my food vendor badge yet. So I went around looking for furniture for that vendor but very few things seem to boost food. Plant furniture that is slightly food based, like lemon trees and Palm trees, and pet food bowl seem to be the only things. Anything else?
Thanks for the new update. Love it!! Love the daily jobs... Although I wonder if the garbage pickup will become a chore after a few days... We will see. Council mandate I don't care too much about... Don't have enough hours of the day to spend in the game to need things to speed up. So definitely won't be spending pearls on. Nice to see higher drop rate on monster parts in the temple. It saves a lot of frustrations! Not so happy to see the extra cooking pot in smuggling dan after I just updated the pot 2 days ago. Ah well, I guess at least now I can cook things concurrently... Love the smuggling dan and curious to see if that means I get smuggle quest in the day time too... Also waiting for midnight to see if the old login bonus is now gone. Overall, good job! I'm not sure who are all these people complaining about slow updates, but they had a big update mid jean, and another one mid February. That's once a month.... You people obviously have no value how much work game development is. This is some speedy update! Congrats!
