Pinecones, Pets, and Pearls Where do you find pinecone fruits? It says Sunsoak Island, but there are only three trees on the island to shake, and I mostly get coins and sometimes pow pow fruit, but never pinecones. Has anyone bought a pet? Is it worth spending so many pearls on? Are there any benefits? Speaking of pearls, what has everyone found the most useful thing to spend them on? I have upgraded my warehouse once, so I can hold 70 items. I have been holding on to tons of stuff (maybe too much, but I just want to be able to build whatever I need to quickly), so thinking about upgrading to a 3rd page. I also upgraded my backpack once, so it holds 25 items. I was originally going to upgrade to a 2nd cooking slot with Flambe, but after reading on here that it just queues up the cooking and doesn't do 2 at the same time, I haven't upgraded that. Considering adding another camera slot just in case. Or maybe a 3rd spot to sell fish since that is the best source of income. Thoughts? I have 251 pearls. Thanks! As a point of reference, my major quest right now is to build the Antique Stall. I have 3 crew houses, the 4 other trader stalls and trader houses, level 1 archaeologist, level 2 warrior, level 3 fisherman (ready to upgrade to level 4 but waiting until I made the next 8600 in coins for the antique stall and trader house blueprint).
I decided to give up on this game tonight, after a month of playing I felt as if I'd progressed what I should have in a few days to maybe a week at most. My game backlog is too deep to spend this much time getting nowhere. This was close to a good game but overall bad excecution I guess. I went ahead and deleted it and will go dive into something else. Have fun all!
Pinecone are the blue Apple of the tropical tree. They are a rare drop. Pets do something in the upcoming patch. And the most useful stuff for pearls for me have been 2 wharehouse upgrades and 2 fish monger upgrades.
Don't bother with the pet or the camera slot. Upgrading the warehouse, fishmonger's stall, and cooking queue are all very good.
Yep, I do that too. Sneaking around the edges of the caves seems like the best bet so far (unless i'm really missing something). I am getting a little tired of that though, now I only go to Wendy when I really NEED the XP.
Doza Islands?? Does anyone know how long it takes to get Doza islands to open up? All Rudolf was was "All storms clear eventually. Stay patient and keep decorating and stocking the stalls of Accordia while you wait" giving me no answer as to how to open it up!!
Thanks! I just put him in the Academy to level up. Did the same for the fisherman. Thought I maybe needed a little break from playing anyways
Supposedly, with the next update, the first part will go faster. I don't know any other details, but they might be scattered throughout the thread.... Check back and try again. But be careful - once you get into it, the game is super addicting.
Your guess is as good as anyone else's, sadly. Supposedly an update comes Tuesday but won't include Doza. They are saying another month for Doza. But they sad this update would be out shortly and took 1.5 months, assuming it does come out Tuesday. So not anytime soon...pretty darn good app but with no forward progress is killing the game.
To be fair, my "boy" avatar can't wear the scientist lab coat either. It seems to be restricted only to crew members, which may mean that it's only for the Yorubo tribe.
Update Please? New user, first time posting. I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but since the last update (Remaker one), I haven't been able to put items in my Swap Shop. I can take things out, but when I go to put something in, it doesn't show in the inventory area. There's just nothing there, even though I have clothing/furniture in my inventory. Anyone else have this issue? Hoping 1.4 fixes this.
Thanks! That's a relief. Just out of curiosity, what were the quests for the main line when hiring the archeologist? I chose the suntan lotion line (I thought it would redirect me to the main line, but apparently not), and she asked me to find her lotion, then learn and make Tropical Punch, take pictures of birds, then asked for 3 Archeonfish, then a golem piece.
