Yeah find it odd we haven't heard from the devs in like 2 weeks now. Of course just got the end today and waiting on Doza...sigh....
I read that Doza was not coming until April at the earliest, but 1.4 should be out soon...still waiting...
That seems to be quite normal for the devs. They will post an update and then you won't hear anything from them until the next update. Has anyone bought the second backpack upgrade before this? It seems to cost 150 pearls instead of 100 for second upgrades and I'm wondering if it's a bug/feature.
I'm late to the game compared to most of you. I'm just now working up to buying the house for a warrior, as I kept losing the smuggling quest until 2 days ago. I really suck at the mini sea games. I DO have a warehouse, fortunately, so there's that. Anyway, can anyone tell me the advantage of upgrading your boat? Also, what do we need all the furniture for? No one ever asks for any.
Warehouse was a good shout - best thing to get early on. Upgrade at least one level when you can as well. Boat - you can carry more than one crew at a time. So when you get the warrior, it means you can have both warrior and fisherman at the same time. Although i wouldnt use your money on that just yet - its not too taxing to swap them when you need to and it means that you can progress the storyline quests. Furniture increases your prestige and some quests require you to do that. I keep a couple of pieces of high prestige items in storage so that if i get the quest, i put them out, get the quest reward and then put them back. All other furniture and costumes i either throw or whack in the remaker.
OMG, me too. My XP is 0/-1 and no new fish. I'm not sweating the new fish part, but really, not earning XP? Grrrr
Gaaah, really. No Doza islands until April?? Oh noes. My main/only issue now is that the stupid gold ring quests of either Frank Sterline or the other dude on Woodcutt Island are marked as completed and even though I gave them their rings, they still appear on my list of quests to complete. It dawned on me finally that even if I could give away all of my rock golem powder for a ring, I can't because those items can't be sold or sent to any users who may have extras of what I need and need something I have an excess of. This is super silly, IMO.
Their Twitter implies the update got delayed because of a lot of last minute bugs. They were hopeful to send the update 3 days ago. Apple usually takes 2 weeks to approve an update.
Trading in Swap Shops Hi Everyone, I just registered with Touch Arcade today, but I've been following and using your guys' posts to help with Seabeard for a while, thank you! I love this game and I'm looking for more friends to trade with in the Swap Shops. I keep mine stocked Please add me on Game Center: KailaJuneJ Thanks!
How do you get your fisher woman to level 5? Mine is level 4 and it is going to take years to get 1,000 xp so I can level it up to level 5.My warrior is still at level three. I'm just about done with the antiques stall blockage, and now I'll have to make scaretues soon for Cornelius. I don't know which people I hate more in giving quests: Dr. Cornelius, Rudolf Taleweaver, or Emilia Quickblade. Arghhh they give so hard quests that take forever to complete and I only have 8 rock golem pices now that I'm done with the antiques stall bit.
So, I am currently working on the Library. Is that, and the quest to upgrade your Archeologist, the last quests for the current content? It is all I can see on the wiki. If that is it, I won't worry about rushing the library...
The library is very near the end of the current content. Most people aren't there yet, so you can slowly build it.
...with the deliberate low drop-rate, I've only played once a day to get the daily reward and maybe score a single rock golem piece. in the meantime, I have found a great way to craft anything on any island instantly without spending a single pearl to speed up the wait time: spend $3.99 and buy Radiation Island.
With this update that is coming soon, the monster drop rate is doubling. However they will no longer drop gold. Also terraria is a pretty fun crafting game too.
What to do with statues? I just got my archaeologist finally (yay!) -- but building the antique stall is going to be a nightmare. In the meantime, I have all these statues piling up. Is it worth it to hold on to them or should I just throw them in the remaker? I know some are worth more than others and some are used for future quests. Does anyone know how much each one is worth?
Im way behind and just got a woodwork stall but do toy unicorns sell for the same amount they cost to make or did i see that wrong?
Seems like it. My go to for wood sales are: Beaver statues Yellow paint Red paint, if I have too many strawberries Wood dust, if I have too many planks Wood blocks, you need the warrior to find these. The wood vendor doesn't make me much money but on good days she can make a few hundred gold.
I just kept fishing. On weekends I just kept fishing left and right. Used to log in every 4 hrs or so. The fish will slowly pile up. I'm sorry :-(
