OOOMMMMGGGG my quests are sooooo hard. They are : Dr. Cornelius: Help Alliaster McCubin, Alliaster McCubbin : Rebuild antiques stall. The whole thing is going to take me 9,600 coins, 1 purple paint, 1 rockdust plank, 2 rock golem powders, and two narwhal horns. (These stats are for the stall, the trader house, and hiring the guy.) so how am I supposed to get 9,600 coins??!!!!????
Even from the one at bullhorn farm?? :0 I only ever get coins from chests at the mines. I've never gotten furniture! that's awesome to know tho
Haha just gotta fish! Make sure to level up ur fisher . I found it wayyy harder to get the rockdust & the plank than anything else. So you can earn quite a lot while waiting for rock golem parts. That quest took me 2-3 weeks to complete. I just finished it today
From the one at the farm too, very rarely get pearls. Got pearls in mine a couple times. More often than at the farm And yes, the rock golems..... Toooooook forever.... I'm making scaretues now that require those planks with Rock golem dust.... Bah, so I'm almost done to the third statue thing. Took days .... First to find pieces, then 4.5 hrs to grind them, 6.15 hrs to make planks, then 8.5 hrs to make the statue... Takes tooooo long.
The porcupine is real hard to see and blends in with the ground in the dark. He is there if you watch..
So I learned all the recipes from the Flambé person, yet still no reward, the Great Gastronomy reward requires learning 14 recipes but there are only 12? Am I missing something here? And the porcupine, I saw him before I had camera, then it took me weeks till I saw him again. I'm still looking for last finch at the lagoon
For the other recipes..why not find another place that sells food...there you will find the other 2...
Anyone else not getting the monsters to return after 12 hours?? Just happened today and wonder if the masks, which I haven't worn and got the plant over monster in mistake, have something to do with it. Update...now they show after 13 hours...very odd!
Oh man! I guess I was wrong x.x eep! I rlly thought it was a pattern. :,( sad that it doesn't happen for everyone else. And omg I'm also at that part! I've only made my first scartue ;~; at least there are more rock golems now.
Sadly killed my 6 rock golems and no golem piece...typical luck. And yes my luck is bad...didn't get my first screw until level 11...only boards or pearls before that. And yes that chest spot on the farm does give out items other than pearls...
You know if you think you are going to loose your fish just tap the X in the top right corner and you can try catching it again right? You'll make loads more dosh from all those extra fish you'll be catching. Some fish are just glitchy like those on sunsoak lagoon and woodcut isle. Hope this helps
I fought through the entire temple right into the crypt, I don't know how many golems 10? 12? I got only 2 rock pieces ... *sigh*
Getting fed up with the sailing challenges, can't wait for those to be sorted out. I kept trying the Hard Slalom challenge, figuring I'd get gold sooner or later, just had to get lucky with the stuttering not happening at just the wrong time... But I found I was missing gates even though I was sure I'd made it through them. Put it down to bad timing or the lag. That is, until I did an Easy one last night. Several of the gates appeared in the same lane, I didn't have to change lanes at all to get the next one, just sail in a straight line.... and it missed them! Yup, I got a red cross from sailing in a straight line right through the centre of a gate! I won't be bothering with wasting my time on Slalom challenges til the next update, then.
