I know this game doesn't have much a social aspect to it (yet. fingers crossed) but you can add me on Game Center it's chinky_izza c: I'll try to visit shops and write on ur boards <3
I've spun the ReMaker quite a few times now, but it seems a little absurd how few pearls you can earn. I understand that is supposed to be more of a premium currency, but the most amount of pearls you can earn is 10 (if you manage to land on it). That's 1/56th of remodeling a zone (which I also have to say is quite ridiculous). It would be great if you could spend some coins, pearls and ReMaking exp (gambling experience 0_0?) to level it up and either earn multiple prizes at once, choose between two prizes, or manipulate the wheel a little bit.
I'm also going for the second crew house and the exploding barrel keeps eluding me. But it is showing up sometimes. Im just not landing on it. Perseverance will pay off hopefully. Does anyone know if the timing of when you hit the stop button has any bearing on when the Remaker stops spinning?
I don't know for sure if the timing matters, but I do know that whether you are going to get coins or not is determined before you hit stop. I had a quest that I needed to get 4,000 coins and it would pop up before I hit the stop button every time I landed on some coin amount. Kinda stinks that you don't have more control
I too went through a long time without an explosive barrel. I actually ended up buying a couple and I was pretty darn steamed about it. Though other companies put out FtP games with paywalls, I expect better from BackFlip Studios -- especially since part of the reason I wasn't getting barrels is because I wasn't winning enough med / hard sailing games because of the stutter glitch in their flawed product. growl (I'm still irked about this -- does it show?) Anyway, though I still haven't received an explosive barrel from a sailing game or from an offer from an NPC in 3.5 weeks (that's a long time when one has only been playing for 5 weeks), my long dry spell was broken 3 days ago. Frika posted that one only need put a minimum 100 coin value in the ReMaker to be eligible to win a remover of some sort. Since then (January 10th) I have done roughly 130 runs of the ReMaker and won multiple dynamites, tree removers, and exploding barrels. In the past three days I have won 6 exploding barrels. The coin value I entered into the ReMaker when I got these were: 102, 310, 105, 400, 138, and 181. So Mttbstrd666, just keep doing the ReMaker and you'll get one -- I'm certain. Good luck!
After we have rebuilt the Accordia Library and purchased the Paddle Steamer, does anyone know what comes next that we need to spend money on?
I got 20 pearls today from the remaker machine & really awesome furniture one that had 100 prestige!!
Yeah in about 10 runs of 100+ value of the remaker I have gotten some great pearl only clothes, some furniture, a root remover, and a explosive barrel.
Which recipes would people say are worth learning? Considering learning how to make apple juice, but not just yet - I need to make 2,500 coins quickly, if I learn the recipe now I will have to make and sell 5 lots of apple juice before I actually start earning towards my immediate goal. I could've just sold the apples in the meantime. I also can't see any point in upgrading my fisherwoman (until a story quest requires me to). I just concentrate on golden pike.
I have been having the same issue getting target sailing games. I have not gotten one in weeks now. Around 2 weeks ago I Finally managed to get one it was Hard target (which is all that shows up anymore, when I actually find a target practice) anyway that one of course gave me a screw which of course is not what I need. I need the reinforced beam. And yes I do island hop and play a game here and there to make them change. They just really need to increase how often this mini game shows up. I wouldn't even mind paying a pearl to change the game if you had better odds but most of the time one of the same three games come up so I don't bother wasting my pearls on that. Wish they would make these items available in the new remixer or whatever its called. (if they are there I havent seen them yet). Soo frustrating though would like to progress more in the game without that being based on this one factor.
Trading Can anyone tell me how to trade items with other players? A friend and I are trying to combine forces to help us both get further in the game.
Has anyone experienced getting blocked by the guy in the restaurant in Larona Village? Since he seems to be the only one walking around in a building, at least to the point of blocking the way out. Sometimes he will get stuck in a loop of walking back and forth in front of the door. Which bugs me but it hasn't happened to much. Also I was wondering if the devs could add more recipes that use corn. I feel that out of all the items in the game, corn is used the least. Or at least the least ingredient in a recipe. If anyone has any of the masks how much time does it reduce for spawn rates? I am planning to get the fishing mask since I still don't have a spot for the trader house to get the warrior. And I just thought ide put my say in the mini games. Even with playing and skipping I still don't get target practice or dangerous waters as much as tentacle terror and feeding frenzy. Don't know if the random generator for mini games is skewed or just my luck. Also what is the point of giving the visitors on the island stuff? Do you just get money or is there the possibility of getting and explosive barrel, tree remover, etc.
I'm working on getting that darned barrel to make room for my warrior house too. I've been at that Remaker for a week now and no luck. I've got plenty of tree and root removers though. I was trying to decide what mask to get as well. I may go for the fishing mask. It seems it would create the most revenue/Remaker chances.
So I stopped playing this game just before release as I played all through beta, anyone kept on since beta and can say if it's worth getting back into now? Are the games less insanely hard ect? Any quicker to progress? I had my level 2 fisherman and warrior and that's about it.
