Taxi quest I've been stuck on the taxi quest for a few days which is funny because before I got that quest I used to get one or two a day anyways all I can do is wait it out. Does anyone know what I should save for later quests and buildings?
Save the Tree remover and Barrel the paint can be made anytime but the reinforced wood can only be earned with mini games so keep that. Root removers are everywhere use them or toss them away also stone fish are almost always needed for building

Any advice on getting the target shooting mini game? I need one screw for the warrior quest and I haven't had it in over a week. I've tried playing games, skipping between islands, everything I can think off. Also wondering if anyone else gets stutters during games. I'm playing in a 5C and every game stutters a few frames a few times per game which makes gold medals almost impossible on med/hard.
First time poster and long time lurker# The target mini game has been incredibly scarce for me as well. I was lucky enough to amass 3 screws early on and have not gotten one since. I can only hope they won't be needed again soon. Sorry I don't have any advice as I have tried all those things too. I will say that after many days I am seeing a few target games, but nothing like earlier. If you figure something out, please post!!
The stutter glitch during sailing mini-games is a problem Hand Circus is aware of and says they will address in the next update. Problem is, we are playing NOW. Because this glitch causes a much lower chance of winning med/hard games we also have a much lower chance of getting explosive barrels. I know that we can sometimes get explosive barrels from NPCs, but I haven't got one since Dec 21. That's two weeks ago. So, I finally bit the bullet and bought an explosive barrel, and I'm pretty darn irritated about it. I am happy to support the developers and spend money on games. For example, I had no problem with buying pearls to upgrade my warehouse. That was a choice thing to make my game play more enjoyable. But to HAVE to spend money to just progress in the game really irks me. Given that Hand Circus / Backflip Studios knows that their glitch is hindering our getting explosive barrels, I would think they would help players out a bit during the days we're waiting for their update. That would be the honorable thing to do.
I was having the same probem with the screw but I kept playing the mini games between bullhorm farm to accordia since it's the easiest route. I managed to win 3 explosive barrels, 1 tree remover, 3 dynamite, 1 root remover and 1 pearl before winning the screw. And after I built a house for my warrior, I found out that I need 3 more screws for the monster trader.
Same thing happens to me. I just adapted and collect all the veggies on the first time. I have a warehouse.
Everyone seems like they're having trouble with this but I get multiple target games. This is what I do. I start on my home island and go to the same destination (either the farm or wood place since it's a short distance). Then go back home and do the same exact thing. After a while a shooting game will show up sometimes it takes 2-3x other times longer but it'll show up. Good luck ~ the most important thing is to just play the sailing games. Also if you get a hard shootig game and miss a target make sure to skip to destination so the game doesn't change

@Shweets I saw the beaver at the Archeon Temple on a Sunday afternoon (it was raining too). Not sure about the Treefinch yet
So does upgrading your fisherman actually do anything? I'm a little irked that I spent so much time and money on nothing... I don't see much of a difference.
Found the tree finch on Monday morning during the rain on sun soak lagoon he was quick though. He was right at the South Eastern tip of the beach . I feel like I might have been lucky. Hope you are too!
Assistance I could really use some assistance from someone further along than myself. I can't seem to get any barrels, been like that since launch, so i'm stuck atm, though i still enjoy the game so wanted to know what i should be saving for when it finally arrives. There are currently no quest available aside from contructrinc crew house nr 2, but i cant since i dont get barrels. Therefor i have used my gold to buy blueprint for it, aswell as repairing the fishing academy and buying i boat. This leaves me with nothing left to spend my money on, aside from recipes. Should i buy any of these or just save everything? also how much gold should i always have in stock for tree remover/barrel? And one final question, is there any specific items i should save thats hard to come by, i saw someone mention screws earlier so i saved 3 of them, anything else?
For me the recipes have been the biggest source of income. They give a huge increase in value to easy to find items and help to clear out some space in your inventory. Also there are frequent quests to craft food which are really easy to do and give a lot of money. I'm even considering buying the extra cooking space instead of upgrading my inventory since I use it so often.
