I don't mean to start anything, but why are the only two black dudes I've encountered (Mickey Quickfinger and Reggie Catpipe) both into criminal activities?
The woodcutter sells regular decorations (on the left) and themed decorations (on the right). My question is do you have to have paid for the Yuletide theme to place a Yuletide themed decoration?
I was dissappinted too but after a few days playing patiently, eventually Polly Bullhorn sell the explosive barrel for 800 coins (sorry for the big image, I don't know how to resize using ipad)
I've been told to build the Warrior Academy, but I'm not seeing blueprints available for it. Is it that broken down building on the west of the home island? That thing is telling me I can't repair it yet. Is that because I haven't built the 4th Trader House yet. (Waiting for an explosive barrel. ) Or, is there something else I should be doing to build the Warrior Academy?
Is there a quest line that requires iron keys dropped by dark gnolls or should I use them as I find them?
This tip is for everyone stuck in explosive barrel hell. As many have pointed out the sailing mini games are not random. I discovered exactly how non-random the games are. In my game every single minigame for the past 2-3 days between Dorado Mine and Woodcutt Isle are fast lane mini games (I have run at least several dozen games). Furthermore at least 50% of the games are medium or hard games. This allowed me to mine this route for all the super rare drops. Once I figured this out I was able to get 2 explosive barrels in a single day. I think that the fast lane sailing games are the easiest to beat on medium or hard but YMMV. I don't know if everyone's games have the exact same route layouts but there have been multiple people in this thread that have been keeping track of all routes. They may chime in and confirm or deny this.
I was just able to purchase an explosive barrel from the guy in the tower on Seadog Cove. It was 500 coins.
Does anyone know if there are any other quests that require prestige gains on the order of 100 or more to complete, besides the one given by Emilia Quickblade? I am considering wether or not to place some of my items on the island, or to wait for that quest to come up. Thanks!
If anyone else is wondering this, I now have the answer. Yes, the Warrior Academy is that broken down building in the west. You can't repair it until Emilia (or whatever the warrior expert's name is) tells you to, and gives you the crest.
