I agree in principle that selling the ingredients individually yields more gold, but in practice, I find that selling an expensive item such as chowder before you log off for the day is a great way to make money (mainly because you don't have to be constantly active to top up your trader stalls).
The only way to change the mini games is to spend pearls (not recommended) or to play them. They never reset or randomize on their own. So if you don't have a Target Range game now, you've got to play some of the others and hope they get replaced. I really wish the devs would change this. Maybe once a day just reset all the mini games.
They totally change when you free travel. Just certain island to island trips have a high chance of being a certain game.
Well you are still talking about nearly a month to make your money back. I do the same thing with pancakes which are another recipe that takes awhile to pay off, but the game forces to buy it for the main quest. Also do not buy the blue apple juice reciepe unless you are getting it for the acheivement rewards. That reciepe is never profitable. You lose 20 gold compare to just making 3 grogs. And grog uses a different machine so you can even cook while making grog.
False. I've been watching for the past several days and keeping a log. A few pages back I posted how I've been testing. The games only change if you play them. No matter how many times you free travel from an island and return, the games will be exactly the same as when you first left.
Hey, my gf and I have been playing seabeard for a few days and are really enjoying it. I have a question however that I can't find an answer to. Is there a way to trade items like planks, strawberries, blue apples, etc.? Do I need a specific building? Thanks.
You mean trade them between your characters? Not that I know of. I'm pretty sure the swap shop that you eventually get only lets you put furniture and clothing up for sale.
In case anyone else wants the answer to this question, inside the Fishing Academy when it asks if you want to upgrade the fisher, there are no additional requirements to upgrading. If you click "Sure", the 24 hour no-fishing time starts immediately.
rawr, after so many days I'm still stuck not picking up a barrel bomb or tree remover to make space for my warehouse. Guess I'll have to forego that and just finish up my seabeard manor...
Sorry doesn't work. You get the same games unless you play one. Have played the sailing games and still no feeding frenzy game now for close to a week. Still nada from the dev.
Weird. I get tons of Feeding Frenzy games, but I haven't seen a Target Range for about five days. I really hope it's a bug, otherwise we're both just supremely unlucky.
I am enjoying the game, but I have a couple of suggestions. I think the Fish Stew should be sold by the Food Vendor, not by the Fishmonger. The other thing is that I managed to get the warrior, and the minigame is fun, but I can't sell anything that I get by fighting enemies with him. I think it's kind of tough to work hard and get the warrior, only to realize that I won't be able to sell anything that he can get me unless I spend another 4,800 gold plus building materials on a monster parts stall and another trader house. Not to mention that the vendor will probably cost at least 500 to hire. Quite a let down.
So I'm not sure what I should build next. 3rd trader house for my woodworking stall, 2nd crew house for the warrior, or a warehouse. Thoughts?
750, actually... And the gnome hats only sell for 5gp, but it only takes 4 seconds. Arms are worth more, though
How do I get a crew member back that I have sent home? I sent home the fisher so I could get the warrior. But I really don't want the warrior quite yet. I sent the warrior home so I would have room on my boat for the fisher. But I can't figure out how to get the fisher back.
Suggestion hi I have a suggestion! A feature where we can use our root/tree removers and dynamite to help out our neighbors. As of now there isn't much incentive to have friends in this game. Hope you guys consider
I would much rather an upgrade path from root remover to tree remover and dynamite to exploding barrel. I have removed every single tree root but I am stuck on getting the second crew house for lack of a tree remover or exploding barrel. How about 3 root removers for 1 tree remover with a 12 hour timer. You could do it at the mill because he is under utilized.
