No way to reset your progress in this game huh? I started a while ago and stopped for a long time so now I'd like to start fresh. I emailed their "support" but only got an automated response assuring me I'd get a real reply. Sadly that never happened. Why do so many iOS games not let you restart? Or have multiple save slots?
You have to finish the blue Apple grog quest to get to the next quest, where you rebuild the bridge on the left. You will need tree remover or an explosive barrel to free up a house space. If you can't get one, the old man from the intro will give you a tree remover for building the swap shop.
I believe we're past the soft launch, now, and into the official. Not sure. Regardless, I'm sure you enjoy feed back. I love the game, and that some pearls pop up here and there for quest rewards. I decided I like the game enough to buy the starter pack of pearls and coins combo. Here are my complaints: 1- the fish are sometimes literally impossible to catch. It will pull all the way past the sad face line the first time it struggles. Pain in the butt. I've since learn the fish doesn't go away if I'm quick enough to hit the X, then recast to try again. It's just super frustrating because over half my fish do this. 2- I work nights, so I play most of my games at night. I've been cutting into my sleep to play this because the cows and chickens sleep at night, and the crops are only available till 6pm. I think maybe a nighttime setting would work if you like to keep with the realism of sleep and business hours. If the realism factor isn't necessart, just being able to wake up the cows and chickens, and the crops able to be accessed by talking to someone in the building would be awesome. Or maybe even let people decide when the start playing to be on a reversed night and day. Sadly, this might end up as a back burner game if I can only play on my weekends. Sorry about my punctuation, it needs work. I look forward to the next update with the calendar and stuff. Thanks.
Once you get the hang of fishing, it's real easy. Here are some great tips mw1 posted here a few days ago.
This is my first time to play this game. But when i try to enter the name of captain at the beginning of the game, it noticed that 'the name needs to have at least 3 characters'. However, no matter what I entered, the notice also occur so that i cannot play the game.... Can anyone help me?
Recipes cost versus money made So looking at some the reciepes and some them are just traps to make you waste money. The biggest scam is the fish chowder. At first it seems great because it sells for 100 gold. However that means it cost 500 gold (reciepes at always 5x sells cost) and the ingredients itself actually see for 78 gold. Which means you need to make 23 fish chowders before you break even. where as cheap stuff like apple juice only takes 9 creations to break even. And my kitchen is almost always busy with apple juice, carrot juice, tomato soup, and mushroom soup. So I would claim that make something into a food and having to only sell one item but not making much money is much more of annoying than just selling a items. Edit: I forgot one more problem with the expensive food items. For expensive food item over 40 gold, when you get a quest to make one you will always lose money. On pancake quest I usually lose 20 gold off the selling price. They will never you you the full amount. Where as apple juice quest almost always give an extra 3-8 gold. Though one benefit of the expensive food items seems to be that you get more exp.
Impossible burlap quest? Has anyone finished Wendy burlaps quest to defeat 3 dark gnomes? I have to kill all the gnomes except one to even get access to Wendy burlaps character. I don't think the gnomes respawn within the twelve hours she gives me to complete the quest. Any ideas or tips on what to do? ;;; Also sidenote I'm on the warrior lady ( meep forgot her name ) where she tells me to help rudolf rebuild the manor and warehouse. I've rebuilt the manor but rudolf hasn't asked me to build the warehouse am I suppose to just do that myself?
Yeah just build the warehouse. Don't worry about going ahead of quest. If you build a building or learn a reciepe that is later a quest, then you just instantly have the quest check marked and can get the rewards. Also for a the warehouse you will need 1800 gold, 5 planks, purple paint, and 3 rock fish.
Awwww man! The beaver statues you make are different then the beaver statues you can buy. You can't make your own furniture. I want an army of beavers to protect my island
They are the mini games you do when you go to other islands. What I do is check all the islands to see if one of them has the mini game and if not just skip to an island then go back and check all of them to see if one of them has the mini game. Hopefully this helps.
A great game, no doubt, but the strict day/night cycle is currently my main complaint. It makes the game much less enjoyable, even unplayable, when many of the required game elements happen while I'm supposed to be sleeping. Thanks for considering this, HandCircus!
Thanks! I'm currently trying to repair the fish academy but it seems smarter to build the warehouse first
HEYYYYY I WENT THREW THREAD TO ADDD PEOPE TO B MY NEIGHBOR ADD ME IN GC speedyph so we can b neighbors
I have repaired the Fishing Academy and inside it asking if I want to upgrade Lorna Crabhoarder's fishing skill to level 2. Others have posted here that there is no fishing for 24 hours when Lorna is in school. I'd like that no-fishing day to be over Christmas, and am planning for it then. Question: If I click on Yes to upgrade the fisher, are there any additional requirements before the no-fishing time starts? Or does it just start when I click Yes to upgrade the fisher?
I too agree with this sentiment that Rome (Arcadia) wasn't built in a day, and that games like this take patience to play. As long as it is doable (which it is) I actually enjoy that it takes patience. For example, right now I'm wanting to repair the Manor. It costs 4000 coins, I earn at least 1000 coins per day, so I am looking forward to getting it in four days. It feels more rewarding that way.
I would. 35 extra slots of inventory means I can stock pile of each mini game item, rare items, and building supplies.
I agree that I would like some stuff to be possible at other times of the day, but at the same time i understand what they're doing.
I have just got the warrior character and killed a few dark gnomes and have monster arm and hat parts.. But the mayor at the main town keeps saying he has an idea for a new stall but it's secret until I have monster parts.. Even though I do he has kept saying this for few days... Any ideas??
