Tips on fishing: 1. Basic - only reel in when fish is not struggling 2. When fish is struggling, just hold on to the line without reeling in. 3. When fish is not struggling and your line has high tension, let go of the line for a moment to release tension (beeping will get slower or even dissapear) 4. If all else fails and fish is about to get away at the line, release and quickly press the 'X' button at top right to exit fishing. Your fish will still be there for another try, but it's 'personality' (how much struggling it will do) will be reset each time you attempt to catch it. I have a nearly 100% catch rate. The only times I let the line snap is if I'm impatient and try to reel the fish in while it's struggling. PS one more small tip: after the fish takes its first bite it will pull away for a short while before you can start reeling it in. However sometimes it will pull away, and then start struggling immediately leaving you with no chance to start reeling in. One of my mistakes is I start to reel in without pausing to see if it's struggling at the start or not. Hope this helps... Give a man a fish, eh?

You all are awesome, even buying pets I'm too cheap to use pearls for that The new houses sometimes only show up after you make space for them For the newbies here's my Prestige Trick again Whenever you are asked to increase your prestige by 30 in a quest ( it alway start off "hey you're that kid") click no then go to your island and remove furniture worth 30 prestige. Return to the person with that quest and click yes then go back to your island and replace the piece of furniture worth 30 prestige. That's it you've easily completed the quest without spending a dime I've sailed to the Archeon Seas and entered the Ancient temple,I've forth and killed 100's of Gnomes and crushed many a stone Golem I've crafted every recipe and smuggled 3 packages in 1 night. I want a cat too. One of the first things I did was build a kennel for my cat to sleep in at night. Now, I'm ready to splurge and buy the cat. But, I thought he was 50 pearls. That's just $2 -- fine for a little bit of play. However now I see that he is 250 pearls, which is $10. (gasp!) Has he always been 250 pearls, and I just remembered it wrong? Am I having a blonde moment here?

For me, it was quite fast to generate money, just keep fishing and collecting food to sell to the merchants Playing feeding frenzy, tentacle terrors, etc (easy) also will give u lobster, tentacle, whale tooth which ca be sold to fishmonger. Just have to be patient! ^^
Size of warehouse plot? My inventory is full and I need to use 1 explosive barrel, 1 dynamite, and 3 root removers. My next goal is the warehouse -- does it use the same size plot as the trader houses, i.e., relatively large? Also, any suggestions for size of plot to use root removers on? Thanks!
It's the same as trader house and root removers can be used anywhere but you can use it on a large plot if there's roots and small rocks
I think he was always 250 - the most expensive of the pets! Now I'm saving gold for a pirate eye patch for him.
No the last 68 pages were people asking the same question You might want to check out the official review, it is pretty spot on. The game is really really slow. It will take days for you to move on to the next quest line. Gold and pearl come are really slow rates. Selling 20 gold fish that respawn every 6 hours is going to be your main income. Luckily you can make about 200-300 each batch of fish respawns. But construct a warehouse (an early game building) it will cost you 2100 gold for all the steps. If you can handle that speed and don't try to hoard every item you see, then it is a fun game.
